Horrible service would give NO stars if I could.no one available to let us in to check in were told we had to wait over 45 minutes in the heat.Nothing but rude staff that eventually when they had someone let us in the Airbnb a staff member Ricardo he demanded cash (extra 90 euro)to carry 2 bags up to the house without telling us prior. He was rude and demanded cash and we were threatened to find a different Airbnb whilst laughing at my elderly parents. Our accommodation was full of black mould in Positano called CASA LAURA, couldn’t use washing machine , had 4 towels for 7 people and 2 toilet rolls , whilst the bathroom and toilet downstairs was blocked and unusable for the 4 nights we had booked.
The bidet wouldn’t operate as it was blocked with feces and they completely made the start of our trip a nightmare and unpleasant from the beginning. No apology, no reimbursement just an overpriced mould, unmanned home that is overpriced and nothing like the photos.

Proprietà assolutamente disgustosa! Ancora più disgustoso è il rappresentante trasandato "Lucio". Abbiamo prenotato tramite VRBO, ma questa società ci ha indirizzato a una proprietà diversa che contraddiceva la nostra conferma di prenotazione. Il costo delle pulizie su VRBO è di 180 euro, a noi ne hanno addebitati 420.

Il costo a notte è di 550 euro più i 420 euro di spese di pulizia impreviste. "Villa Allesandra" è infestata da muffa, acari della polvere e cimici dei letti. La casa è disgustosamente sporca, la biancheria è consumata e macchiata, i piatti sono rotti e incredibilmente di qualità inferiore a quella dei negozi a un dollaro. Oltre alle pericolose patologie polmonari, alle pareti malsane e contaminate dalla muffa, la casa è infestata da ragni e cimici dei letti.

Ho trasferito la mia famiglia in un hotel sul mare e condividerò sicuramente la mia esperienza con "Amore Rentals" con la gente del posto e con i miei colleghi gestori immobiliari/investitori.

Personalmente e professionalmente, come "super host" e proprietario di un immobile di VRBO, sarei oltremodo mortificato nell'apprendere che il mio investimento è in tale disordine e rappresenta una grave responsabilità legale.

La direzione è oltremodo maleducata e il loro rappresentante "Lucio" mi ha addirittura inviato minacce fisiche tramite "WhatsApp". Non mi sono mai sentito così insultato e mancato di rispetto in tutta la mia vita... soprattutto come cittadino italiano/americano!

Vergognatevi, Amore Rentals e Lucio! Spero che questo post serva a mettere in guardia tutti voi viaggiatori astuti, gente del posto e visitatori vulnerabili, affinché facciate attenzione a questi pericolosi predatori!

The unit does not look like the listing. The unit was not clean, there was mold, and mystery stains everywhere.

We could not stay here and had to book a last minute hotel. Would bot recommend anyone use Amore.

Horrible experience......the worst vacation homes n horrible staff....we rented this villa n paid 2600.euros and found a real dump .....dirty and on fit for anyone to stay there...they offered to clean on site ...but it would have taken a full team for many hours to get it some what clean.....definitely not what we wanted to go through on vacation....denied any compensation or refund.....or offered another place ......don't rent from these companies amore travel...,,or home to go....very bad experience!!!!!!

Do not rent from Amore Rentals. If you want to be taken to a dirty Villa to only be stranded in Southern Italy unless you paid 3,000€ more. The help denied our unit was dirty, and Amore Rentals wont answer us and administer a refund. I have attached pictures- would you wish anyone to stay here? And pay for a cleaning fee after the fact? ALL the bathrooms were stained and smelled like urine. Soap scum, rust, mold. Maintenance didn’t even bring one cleaning product. The furniture wasn’t outside or set up. Air conditioning never worked. The picture was NOT as advertised.. we brought an 80 year old woman to stairs with no railing. We would have never rented. The customer service has stopped answering me. I am disgusted. DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR VACATION RUINED!

UPDATED POST THEIR REPLY 9/3/24: 1) the maintenance was not there within 20 minutes, it was longer. 2) they did not think the unit was dirty nor did they clean a single thing or bring a broom or mop 3) they gaslit and denied that it was dirty when it was beyond obvious 4) they are still doubling down refusing to refund 5) don’t rent from them even more so after that response with lack of empathy and understanding 6) the unit should have been cleaned BEFORE end of story. You charge €167 of a cleaning fee but the unit had urine, soap scum, sticky counters, the post was deceptive and the unit was miles and miles away from the beach. 7) i reiterate again don’t trust these people 8) there was still not air conditioned as promised

I recently had the displeasure of booking a stay at Amore Rentals- Apartment La Terrazza Sul Porto, and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare. The moment we walked in, it was evident that we had made a grave mistake. The place was a dump, to put it lightly.

The sheets provided were soiled and reeked of mothballs, the unmistakable stench of dampness and mold permeated the entire room. The drapes were absolutely revolting, and the bathroom was a breeding ground for mold. It was clear that no effort had been made to maintain even a semblance of cleanliness in this forsaken establishment.

To add insult to injury, the balcony door and blackout door didn't even lock, leaving us vulnerable to potential intruders. The plates and glasses provided were all filthy and stained, and the mattress didn't even have proper covers, with only a measly, grubby sheet to separate us from the questionable mattress beneath.

As if the appalling conditions weren't enough, the management's response to our complaints was utterly abysmal. Upon contacting the managers, we were callously informed that they couldn't assist us until the following day. This lackadaisical attitude towards guests' concerns is inexcusable and speaks volumes about the apathy of the management.

After enduring this ghastly experience for a mere hour, we promptly checked out, utterly disgusted by the entire ordeal. To add insult to injury, we were informed of an exorbitant $8 per person tourist fee, as if the nightmarish accommodations weren't already overpriced.

In a desperate attempt to seek recourse, we reached out to Airbnb, only to be met with the owners' steadfast denial of any refunds. It's abundantly clear that the owners of Amore Rentals have no qualms about swindling their guests out of their hard-earned money, with complete disregard for providing a habitable environment.

In hindsight, it's abundantly clear that we should have heeded the warnings of the numerous 0-star reviews that undoubtedly litter Amore Rentals' profile. Nonetheless, we hold out hope that the owners will display a modicum of decency and refund our abhorrently brief stay. I implore anyone considering a stay at Amore Rentals- Apartment La Terrazza Sul Porto to steer clear and spare themselves the agony of such a deplorable experience.

I had to give it one star just to enable a review, well I would not recommend the company to anyone, booked a 3 x bed Villa 11 months ago to accommodate the family for my daughters wedding in Sorrento for August 2023, 3 days ago they contacted to say Villa was double booked so they offered us a Villa 1hr away from Sorrento, all 50 wedding guests are staying in Sorrento, hair dresser, wedding cars, make up, airport transfers all booked to come to villa, so 3 month before a wedding we had to find accommodation for 6 people in August in Sorrento, this has totally devastated my daughter, Amore rentals I hope you are proud of the totally unprofessional, heartless service you provided, everyone, please, please stay away from this leasing agent

Worst rental agency ever encountered. They tried to cancel our reservation (made 6 months before, it was a luxury villa for 11 people) one week before the check-in date!!
After involving Airbnb, we had to change our plans and eventually ended up staying for a shorter period in 2 different villas. So much inconvenience and stress spoiled our trip. Throughout the stay, the agency created other issues and problems, showing poor attitude, extremely bad communication and lack of transparency.
Avoid at all costs, they will ruin your trip and treat you like fools.

We booked an appartment through Amore rentals in Jan 2022. The appartment was called Casa le Noce, Sorrento. We were due to stay there between 23-30th July 2022. We paid the deposit, checked in and then they took the rest of the amount owing yesterday. They then emailed my husband this morning to say they have cancelled our booking as they have over-booked. I find it interesting that they only realised that they had over-booked 4 days before we were due to fly out. I suspect they were after higher rent and so thought they could cancel our booking and then charge twice as much to somebody who was looking for last minute accommodation and was willing to pay the higher price. They have left myself, my husband and our two young daughters without anywhere to stay. This is a terrible predicament to be in and one I wouldn't wish on anybody. We have booked flights and transfers separately. There is no last minute accommodation in Sorrento ( not surprising when we are due to leave in four days). I really don't know what we will do. I hate this company and the owner of the appartment for what they are putting us through. I wouldn't trust this company as far as I could throw them. They are disreputable and I would advise anybody looking to book one of their properties to avoid them like the plague. Obviously, will will never use them again or recommend them to anybody.

This company Amore Rentals.com doesn’t care about their customers and are unprofessional. None of their representatives came to the apartment to address the issues we raised in our stay. They don’t answer their telephone calls but sending many WhatsApp promising actions that never materialised, though on the 4th day after We sent our email to Expedia,then they contacted the owner who sent his girlfriend and her sister to the apt and confirmed the sitting room biggest AC was not working and the washing machine was full of mould infestation …and a technician was sent by the owner who couldn’t repair both as they need spare parts to be ordered ..
We had our full 7 days stay with no air conditioning in the sitting room where the kitchen was located too…in a very hot and humid weather…we couldn’t use the cooker because of the extra heat it generates..
The washing machine was as mentioned previously was full of mould ..TV has no English speaking channel at all…
We finished our 7 days staying in the apt with all these issues and Amore Rentals didn’t even have the courtesy to send their a representative to meet us face to face and address our complaints..
The next door neighbour has a constant barking dog which is left in the apt on its own until 2 am…very noisy and kept us awake..
The balcony where the air conditioner pipes were leaking water making the balcony floor on the fourth floor slippery and unsafe.
Finally on 28/7 and 29/7 early morning before leaving ,the water pressure was so weak ,we couldn’t have a shower before we travel back home….but before that was ok..
We didn’t report the last two issues as by this stage we were so frustrated with Amore Rentals and the actual apartment too…we just wanted to leave..
I question whether this apt in its present condition and the company management should be associated and advertised by Expedia ..
Expedia was supportive and very helpful through out the process but unfortunately Amore Rentals on the ground with a local office in Sorrento were not..
We are experienced travellers but have never come across such uncaring and unprofessional company as Amore Rentals..
Avoid booking with this company..

NEVER AGAIN - YOUR BOOKING IS NOT GUARANTEED NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PAY. Booked and paid in full for a villa in Massa Lubrense in December 2021 for 1 week commencing 22/6/22. Family organised flights from Australia, UK, France, to attend. Air tickets not refundable under Covid restrictions. I received an email 1 day before we fly out from Australia and 3 weeks before we are due to move into the villa stating that the owners had mixed up their calendars. No offers to assist to find alternative accommodation- simply we will process your refund tomorrow. Cannot believe it

Abbiamo trovato tutto era vicino, coffee shop e di mercato di fronte all'appartamento. In fondo alla strada è stato l'inizio della città vecchia di Sorrento, dove tutti i negozi e ristoranti erano. Facile accesso a tutto, porto, stazione e fermate degli autobus nelle vicinanze. Ci tornerò sicuramente, grazie a Daniela e il personale per l'ottimo servizio!

our apartment was in the heart of the beautiful town of Sorrento.
It was clean and spacious and Antonio was a wonderful and informative owner.
We loved the generous and beautiful people of Sorrento and we would gladly visit again someday and stay at Appartamenti Amore.

Daniela was a wonderful help to me, answering my many, many questions as we looked to book a long term rental. Never once did she tire of my inquiries, and replied personably and helpfully. We've not yet gone to stay at the property, but I expect the service in Italy will be just as attentive as it's been throughout the booking process.

Book sorrento villas has been very responsive to our needs. Whenever I have a question they quickly respond. They communicate quickly and have many helpful suggestions.

We loved this apartment set amid the hustle and bustle of Positano. It was easy to get to restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation and all the shopping! We were wanting for nothing in our apartment and got advice and help when we needed it!

Apartment for 4 people was fine, very spacious. We had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, Lliving room w/TV and kitchen, 2 outside patios. Steps were not unbearable, about 40 steps to get to the apartment but spread out. We had wi-fi, washing machine, and lemon trees outside in our grove. The name of the apartment was Casa Fornillo. It was not at the bottom of the hill where the beach (and shopping district is) but we could get to our own private beach had we chosen to walk all the way down our steps.

We took a train from Rome to Naples. We hired Amalfi car service to drive us from Naples to Positano which took about 1 hr and 20 minutes, 110 euros. Amalfi car service was excellent. We used them several times. DO NOT rent a car, the roads are too narrow and curvy for anyone not used to driving there.

We were directed to call Angelica, the owner, an hour before arriving. We called her as we were leaving Naples since she needed to direct us to the apartment and a designated area to meet. When we arrived at the designated area, we had to wait 20 minutes for her arrival. Apartment was fine for sleeping, a view of Positano, close to several restaurants and stores. The taxi and bus stop was right outside our apartment. Cable TV in living room and both bedrooms although we had no english speaking channels. Coffee pots are italian, no Mr. Coffee’s here, no microwave….Positano is like a maze of alley ways and streets, and the steps were very easy to conquer near the apartment. We walked to the bottom of Positano to the delicatessen to get coffee, milk, essentials for the stay. It was downhill going but coming back was tough, so we took a cab half way up the hill.

At the bottom of town is Marina Grande which has charter boats, water taxi’s and boats for excursions. We took a boat to Amalfi (and a bus up to Ravello), taxi back to Positano and on another day, took a boat to Capri.
