Waiting on their website to work

Waiting on their website to work. No phone number that works. All the phone numbers are not shown anywhere. I hope I get a call from Boxymo Soon or the website should work real soon.

I'm sorry I gave you 1 star. it's really upsetting me but you have to understand that there is no customer support what so ever.

I hope my no claim bonus is on the way real soon. as I finished with you guys 2 WEEKS AGO !

I can confirm that when your renewal invitation is issued to you 21 days before the renewal of your policy is due, the No Claims Bonus is included in the renewal documentation issued. It is available for all customers on the final page of the renewal invitation and is issued via post to the last know address on your policy.

Stay away

You think they are cheap but they will scam you at every chance they get.

They are cancelling my policy for driving over 160kph even though I have cctv evidence to prove I was in work and not driving the car.

Also i have a text message from them saying excellent driving for that week and they even gave me reward km for that week.

DO NOT PAY IN FULL. As well as cancelling my insurance, they are only refunding me 30 % of the 7 months i have left on my policy. If i paid by the month they wouldn't be able to do this.

Have been on to the ombudsmen and they are currently investigating the matter.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service we have provided.

I can confirm that when a customer purchases a policy with Boxymo.ie, they accept all the terms of the policy.
The stipulations of a Boxymo.ie policy in relation to speeding are clearly outlined and you are advised that should your vehicle be driven at any time on a public road at over 160kph, your policy will be cancelled. It is also advised that should any other person drive your car, the onus is on the policy holder to advise this driver about the telematics box fitted to the car and to advise of the speeding limitations of the policy as their driving will have an affect on your policy.

I can also confirm that I have been in contact with you and assisted you with your issues

Cheap as chips but their satnav is saying I am driving on different roads to which I actually am and to make things worse the road I am alleged to be driving off is actually a narrow Lane

Which has been blocked off for years. They also don't recognise that a certain road has 2 speed limits at different points one 30mph and the other 40mph. I do a few mph under 40 in the 40 zone but the tell me it's 30mph and I'm speeding as I'm doing 37. Caroline.

Terrible Service

One of the worst companies ever to deal with. Being able to correspond with you is almost nonexistent. Your threats to innocent people who have problems returning documents is an absolute disgrace. I had real difficulty with DVLA getting my driving licence on passing my driving test and the stress you caused me was nothing out of the ordinary. I never want to have anything to do with you again!

I can confirm that we allow all customers the same time frame of 31 days to return documentation to our office.
We do advise of all required documents by issuing a Documents Needed letter via email at 3 x 7 day intervals.
We further issue a Recorded Delivery Notification of Cancellation advising of a further 10 days to return the repeatedly requested documentation.
After this time frame if all repeatedly requested documentation is not received, that we have no option but to force cancel your policy of motor insurance.
We do confirm in our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of our website that we will always request a copy of the licences for all drivers and the onus is on the customer to ensure that all documentation is available for return.
Our policy wording does confirm that should you not return repeatedly requested documentation to our office in the tie frame provided, we will have no option but to cancel your policy of motor insurance. I can confirm that this is the process we allow all customers for the return of requested documentation.

I can confirm as an online based company we provide our customers with three different methods of contacting our office. Firstly we provide our customers with the option of requesting a call back either via our website or alternatively by calling 0844 326 7562. I must note all call back requests are worked through in time and date order providing the details provided by the customer are correct.

Secondly we provide our customers with the option of utilising our Imessage service, our Imessage service enables our customers to send our processing or accounts department a message entailing any queries they may have pertaining to their policy. All Imessages are also worked through in time and date order.

Lastly we provide our customers with the option of utilising our online chat service, our online chat service provides our customers with the option of speaking instantaneously with a member of our customer service department. Our online chat service is available Monday - Friday 9-5 and on a Saturday from 09:30-1:30.

Not happy

I have never heard of anybody having to do as much writing/emailing/phone calls as I have done over this past few weeks all for a simple Insurance transaction which was paid in full from the very first day of application. Still you are looking a reason in gap insurance (which i gave you and not sure why you haven't accepted it) which has absolutely NOTHING to do with you. I am very angry with the service.

When a customer purchases a policy of motor insurance with us, we request information from the customer to confirm that all information provided is complete and accurate to ensure that your policy is valid at all times. When there has been a break in insurance cover, we ask all customers to confirm the reason for this break in cover and to confirm information in relation to the period of no insurance so that all information provided validates your policy of insurance. Due to our underwriting criteria, we must confirm all information about the break in insurance to ensure that it falls inside of this criteria.

Boxymo insurance a nightmare

Most stressful experience of my life, would not recommend boxymo insurance to anyone, infact I would say stay clear. Can't blame your phone staff they are only following company protocols, the blame lies with the guys who give the orders, call the shots. Your protocols are not in the best interests of the customer, the word torture comes to mind, to summarize, absolute nightmare.

Good price but communications could be better.

A great price for young drivers insurance and advisers were pleasant to speak to when you got speaking to them. When information was needed instead of just e-mailing what was required one has to log into a/c to find out what is required and if you needed to actually speak to someone it was necessary to book a call, which as I said, they were helpful but it took such a long time to sort out minor problems which a phone cal could have sorted in minutes.

Aviod at all costs

As a first time driver i knew my insurance was gonna be expensive so i decided on the black box policy firstly its cost me 2000 to i sure and only for 6000miles its a joke!, at the moment my policy is sitting in the upwards of 4000 due to "top up miles" money aside the installation of my box was a nightmare,getting hold of someone was a pain and ive wasted so much money on calls that aren't nessary! Ive been hassled with paper work one person saying one piece of information and another the opposite i 100% wont be recommending yourselves and wont be returning!.

Hello Stuart,

Once a quotation has been completed we provide our customers with a selection of different options of miles and prices, the decision as to which policy is most suitable is then solely at the customers discretion. I can confirm the 6000 miles package is our minimum package. As per our policy wording, when you take out a policy you choose the number of miles you require. If you use up all of your policy miles and any reward miles you have been allocated before the end of the period of insurance you must buy top up miles or we will cancel your policy. As stated on our website when purchasing the policy a telematics device will be installed in your vehicle, this device then monitors your mileage and driving. Our premiums are very competitive in comparison to many of our competitors and offer young drivers the opportunity to gain driving experience under their own name. I can confirm as of the 24/09/2015 we introduced a solely outbound call system in response to negative feedback we have received from customers due to the wait times on our telephone service. I can confirm our customer service department are now calling customers back within one hour of receiving a call back request during office opening hours. As we are mainly an online based company we also offer our customers an online chat service which enables customers to speak with a customer service advisor instantaneously. Lastly we also offer our customer access to an Imessage service which enables them to send our processing or accounts department a message querying their policy. I can confirm once a policy is purchased we email you a letter confirming what documentation is required, this is then followed by another two emails. We always appreciate feedback from our customers as we continue to look for ways to improve the level of service we provide.

Sorry I ever heard off them.

They are cancelling our policy because we can not provide the vehicle tax book with our new details on it. This is completely out off our hands because there is a back log in the vehicle tax office in Swansea. When we eventually get through to them there is nobody that will listen to reason and impossible to get talking to any supervisor/management. All this on top of the other long list of requirements. A complete cowboy company. Stay away. They will do anything to try to keep your money. Not worth the headache or the time you'll waste trying to communicate with them.

2 Years with them now - new driver - preowned car - no problems!

I saw the sole bad review was due to the policy being rejected due to modifications on the car, and this had me worried when first ordering my insurance. However, the check went fine, the staff are lovely and easy to reach, and I get a text every week to say if my driving is fine. The price is so cheap compared to other insurers, both years I've been offered a quote substantially less!
I would definitely recommend.

Simply the worst *AVOID*

A cowboy company would be an understatement. Cancelled my insurance after I did not copy both sides of my licence (yes you have to send them a copy by recorded delivery). When I resent my licence (after they cancelled) they said it would be no problem to give me another quote. Slight problem with that as they decided to charge £600 more than my previous quote a mere month ago and said it would take 45 days to issue a refund (of course when a cancellation fee has been deducted)

Communication is also terrible, have been on hold for an hour and then hung up on, they have also promised to ring me back asap, that was a day ago. Furthermore they claimed to have lost my licence and when I reacted angrily it suddenly appeared, what a complete shambles.

Do not waste your time and money with this joke of a business as you will live to regret it just like I have.
