Not an horrendous experience and alls well that ends well.
Initially *** Not an horrendous experience but not great either. Order acknowledged 21/7 but then nothing till 31/7 when a message read ‘the last items in your order are on the way’. Had not had any items at this point so asked what was going on with the missing item- would it be dispatched separately or would I be refunded. Whilst not actively acknowledging my message (none taken) I did receive a message 1/8 stating item to be refunded. Package which was dispatched 31/7 (48 hr tracking) did not arrive until 11/8. Package looked like it had been opened & papier- mache powder product had partially spilled in box. None of this is a deal breaker- I would give Bradbury Art another chance but things would definitely need to go better.
17/8/26 update-5* experience on feedback. In addition to reply here I was contacted privately & Richard went above and beyond to make amends for mistakes made. Total respect. Recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a fair review — you'd have been within your rights to be a lot less generous.
You're right on every count. An item in your order had been discontinued without our listing being updated. The delivery then took far longer than the 48 hours it should have, and the box arrived in poor condition.
Two things are changing as a result: how we spot and communicate unavailable stock before it delays an order, and the packaging on our papier-mâché powder. I've emailed you directly to put things right, and I hope you'll give us that second chance.

A few issues with my order - but store dealt well with my complaint
There were a few issues with my photo album I ordered:
- unclear descriptions on website showed a desired colour but the image didn't correspond
- to be sure I emailed them and got the answer that they have the colour I want and I can proceed with the order
- then they emailed me back that actually the only album in the colour I wanted they have is from the display with torn cover, but they offered a discount
- this initially wasn't a problem for me, and I chose another colour
- I specified that it's for a special occasion and I want a fresh, brand new album
- my order arrived and although it was sealed in the original plastic cover for protection, it showed some dents on the spine. Probably from incorrect storage.
- I convinced myself it's okay, not wanting to create waste by sending it back but later I changed my mind
- I wouldn't have bought imperfect new item if I'd seen it in a shop, so I was frustrated about the lack of detail and care
- I emailed them with my complaint and they have never returned my email leaving me disappointed
Edit: Based on a very kind reply from Richard from Bradburyart, I've added another star to the review. It's great to see genuinely kind ways of resolving online order issues. Doesn't happen often these days.

Delivery quick, quality pens
Delivery was very quick. Ink pens seem great but I’ve only tested them so far on scrap fabric.

I popped into Bradbury Art while on a trip to Belfast and fell in love!
Incredible selection and the staff were really lovely! I wanted to buy a Himi Gouache Pallette but it was too big and heavy for my luggage. Ordered it online right there in the shop and it was delivered super quickly, well packaged with a cute little note. Plus it was on sale at such a decent price!
Will 100% be ordering from here again ❤️
