I called for some paint. Paid and had a delivery the next day. Easy. Fuss free. Perfect.

Every member of staff in the store are incredibly helpful. Polite. Knowledgeable. Patient.
Just everything you want and need from a decorator centre.

Dan, Craig, Claire, Nick and Phil. All 5 star. Brewers are incredibly lucky to have staff like these guys and Gal.

Fast delivery but the courier left package at the wrong house
Customer service was beyond excellent and the package was retrieved.

Items were available at a competitive price for almost instant collection.

I have been using Brewers in Chelmsford for over 30 years. They are always helpful, efficient and pleasant. My last trip was complicated because it was the start of a new project and there was a long list of things to choose, things that I had never used before and so needed advice and a couple of things on my maybe list. Nick served me. He was patient, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He also said when he needed advice from a colleague, which I always respect when someone knows their limits. He told me of some special offers so I went back in a couple of days later and took advantage of those. All the staff are fantastic, well done.

On Tuesday 29th July, I called Brewers to discuss a CHP Decorating Pack purchase order with your colleague Claire

Claire was unable to find the purchase order on your system so we made other arrangements for me to get it directly from CHP

On Wednesday 30th July, I phoned again to discuss a revised approach which she agreed would be more effective and simpler for all involved

Just 10 minutes later, Claire phoned me back to say that she had used a different approach to find the CHP purchase order and had been successful

She and I spent in excess of 40 minutes discussing the contents of the purchase order and some changes that I would like to make

At all times during our call, Claire exercised particular care and patience with a customer who was struggling to get a clear understanding of the details of each item on the purchase order

I have over 35 years of experience of giving and receiving customer service, both good and bad

Consequently, I can say with complete confidence that Claire delivered a truly exemplary service to me on both days, particularly the Wednesday

She exercised a depth of knowledge and experience that I only rarely experience from similar companies and turned our discussions into a truly outstanding and satisfying experience

To summarise, everything that Claire did was to an exceptionally high standard and I reasonably imagine that she delivers this same experience to everyone she serves

What I have said here is richly deserved, I do not exaggerate at any point

I suspect that almost all other Brewers customers who Claire serves are perhaps not aware of the quality of service that they receive from her and even fewer are willing to make the effort to bring this to the attention of Claire's manager

In my opinion, so many people working in the front lines of Customer Service rarely receive the gratitude and recognition that they deserve which is the reason that I am so happy to have this opportunity to make you aware

If you have a tangible way to recognize Claire's highly professional service, then please exercise this at an early opportunity

I hope that you will take particular care of such a valuable colleague and give tangible recognition of this to her in the most appropriate way

You may wish to consider using my experience with Claire as an example in your customer service training courses
