Don’t recommend them if you’re a young female student. They refused to put locks on my door even after an attempted break in and thus a man was able to come into my room at 4am. Theyll scam ur deposit as well, made us pay for the landlords friend fly tipping on the premises. Awfulll
Staff as well particularly Emma. Not great.

Domenica from Digs came to help us quickly and was very nice throughout the process. She then contacted the contractor who came within 20 minutes. Thank you!

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if that was possible. I tried to leave the tenancy multiple times because of how awful digs are, but they claimed i was in a contract that made it physically impossible for me to swap tenancies with someone else. They take months to send someone to fix anything around the house. they are money grabbing, spineless, and corrupt.

I am currently awaiting my deposit to be returned by Digs (we moved out 25 days ago and still haven’t even been given a deductions list yet) but I can almost guarantee they will attempt to take the whole £650. They are genuinely the worst. PLEASE, do not rent with digs. Scummiest company ever. They need to be investigated.

I am incredibly satisfied with my experience renting through Bristol Digs. The whole renting process was exceptionally fluent, and I owe a massive thank you to staff members Alex and Jasmine, who were super helpful from start to finish. I used Housing Hand as my guarantor, and Alex and Jasmine actually went out of their way to chase up the signature for me, ensuring that all my contract requirements were sorted before my move-in date!
Everything with them is incredibly transparent—both the payment process and the contract details were clear, with absolutely no hidden or strange rules to worry about. Their communication is also top-notch; they reply to emails promptly and answer the phone with great patience and professionalism. Plus, their office is conveniently located right by the University of Bristol. I am so happy to have booked with them and highly recommend their services!

I’ve just rented a flat with Diggs and it’s safe to say I’m not impressed AT ALL. Communications was absolutely appalling, the most unprofessional company I’ve ever had to deal with. I told them multiple times about mould and broken bits in the flat and nothing was done and threatened to charge for the mould removal when they finally got round to doing it MONTHS later (contract states that mould should be dealt with by the landlord as it is a HEALTH HAZARD and tenets should not be charged). Our contract stated that our deposit would be sent to the lead tenant (we had an email to say that these funds were cleared) to only find out a week later that they were ‘missing’ details (we had already sent these ‘missing details’ to them over a month prior) and that the deposit was not fully cleared and sent to us as individuals. They would never tell us when someone was coming to the flat for maintenance, I had to tell them multiple times to receive any sort of notice. There’s so many more bad experiences that I’ve found with Diggs over just the 10 months that I was in the flat. If you’re trying to rent in Bristol please avoid Diggs. Absolutely nobody in that office has a clue what they’re doing

would. Unsafe property. My things have been stolen multiple times, from my room! And they will still scam you out of your deposit money at the end of your tenancy. Horrible staff!!! Horrible horrible experience. RUN!!!

Terrible agency, stay away from if you can. Flats are poorly maintained, ours was damp and nothing done to fix it. They charge £500 for end of tenancy cleaning, despite our flat spending two whole days deep cleaning everything. Don't even think the cleaners actually come as previous tenants were charged for cleaning (we saw the invoice) and when we moved in the flat had not been cleaned as still items in cupboards and on floor. They also charge every tenant for rubbish collection £35 each approx even if you don't leave any rubbish as you can't prove you didn't leave rubbish they say they can charge you. The scam has been going on for years. Read the other reviews below. If you can avoid DIGS please do. If unfortunately you have just moved in then protect yourself from future charges - complete the inventory in massive detail include state of cleaning of everything and take lots and lots of photos. At end of tenancy take loads of photos and insist on being present at end of tenancy check. They sneakily check property after you have left so you can't dispute anything before they deduct from your deposit. Really think SU should be onto them as they are scamming thousands of students every year 🤬

Absolutely disgusting and vile company. All about scamming and robbing their customers. Lived in a digs property as a year for a student: they constantly ignored our pleas for anything to be fixed even letting mold grow throughout the property and mice in the kitchen without showing an ounce of care to us. Me and one other deep cleaned the house over the course of a week at the end of our tenancy to ensure we received our deposit back yet they have still charged us for cleaning which has reduced our individual deposits by £100. This is ridiculous they have exploited us and many other students who have done nothing but respect the properties. Never again.

Do not recommend diggs at all!! Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Took over a tendency from someone and the flat hadn’t been cleaned for 5 years as they just kept rolling over the tendency's. Really lazy company do not recommend.

Heaven help you if you live anywhere near a property managed by this lot.
Noise complaint upon noise complaint has been made by us regarding a neighbouring property managed by Digs and still the problem continues. Clear breaches of the tenancy agreement by the occupiers and no discernible action is taken.

Staff were easy to talk too and very helpful, Emily in particular was great! Didn't have any issues would definitely recommend.

Bristol house clearance solutions have been working for digs 5 years and we are very happy with their custom.

in my opinion, Digs r a cancer to the student community Bristol. They consistently demonstrate a complete disregard for student wellbeing- especially regarding mould concerns and charge extortionate fees.

Overcharging for everything. Extremely slow to fix everything including leaving us over a week without a working fridge freezer. Needed constant chasing for serious issues to be fixed such as a burst pipe.

Wow were to start! The team are brilliant Alice and Emily on the front of house are fantastic and very welcoming. The property managers are easy to contact and fix issues. I would highly recommend.
