lack of ownership of branded products

I contacted brookstone about s as hand chainsaw that broke within a a couple months of purchase . I wanted to troubleshoot the unit or get a replacement . The customer support person was rude on the phone and said I must contact the manufacturer. I told him the unit and the box and the manual simply stated “brookstone” . i asked him who was the manufacturer . He said h ed had no way of finding out. Do not buy anything with “Brookstone” on the item .

Purchased a heated throw for my mother

Purchased a heated throw for my mother, it included a 5 year warranty. It stopped working in year 4, phone number for Brookstone & warrantor London Luxury LLC found in the product booklet did not work. Found another Brookstone number online, not very helpful. They provided an email for London Luxury which bounced back undeliverable. Called once again given another person’s email at London Luxury, that one bounced back as well. Called Brookstone again, they do not stand behind their products! Asked to speak to a manager who told me London Luxury went bankrupt & told nothing they can do!!

Shady discount coupon practice to get you to order

I wanted to purchase an eye mask and there was a link on the page saying I could save $10, so I clicked on it. It welcomed me as a new customer and said that I could use a code to save $10. When I went to my cart, it said that the code could not be used? I tried several times, then called customer service. I was on hold for over 5 min and was told that the code was valid, I just needed to clear my cookies. If that didn't work, I should try another device Still not working. I emailed customer service and explained everything. The reply was, this was a sale/promotional item and the discount won't apply. NOWHERE ON THE LISTING DOES IT SAY THAT IT IS SALE OR PROMOTIONAL. NOWHERE ON THE WELCOME CODE DOES IT HAVE RESTRICTIONS. This is a $100 eye mask for petes sake. That only amounts to a piddly 10% discount. I asked for a courtesy discount based on time wasted and was refused!!! I will never do business with Brookstone again.
UPDATE: I just got an email saying...OOPS..We did not mean to say that the coupon was refused because it was a sale item (I sent them a screen shot and told them to show me where it said sale or promotion) NOW the problem is that the eye mask is $99 and the coupon is only good for more than $100.( nowhere on the coupon says that) All I need to do is add more to my cart and then they will give me the discount! When HELL freezes over.

Omg. Shame.. .

Omg. I purchased the Titan 4D Vigor Pro Massage Chair for $2294.00. Brookstone ADVERTISED this chair and pricing. I ordered. I just received an email and they are saying the can't HONOR the sales price they ADVERTISED. They want to INCREASE the price to $3999.00? Are you serious right now? They're NOT honoring their advertised price. We can 1. Cancel Order 2. Get a full refund and no chair 3. Buy a cheaper lower end chair and they'll honor the $2294.00 on the piece of shit chair. Really???? Is this even legal?

Merry Christmas to the Scrooge. You're policies suck.

Misleading Return Policy – Buyer Beware at Airport Brookstone

Brookstone at DFW Airport – Terminal A refused to accept a return less than 10 minutes after I purchased an unopened Apple product. The salesperson never mentioned the sale was final and there were no posted signs indicating a no-return policy. When I came back to return the product, the associate falsely told me to go to Apple — wasting my time and misleading me.

Turns out Brookstone is enforcing an online return policy in their physical store without telling customers. I later confirmed this through customer service. This is incredibly deceptive and unethical — especially in an airport setting where customers don’t have time to question every policy in detail.

Brookstone used to be a brand I trusted. Not anymore. Avoid them and their affiliated companies. You have no recourse if you change your mind — even for a brand-new, unopened item purchased minutes earlier.

Brookstone Worst Company Doing Business Today

Well I now understand why no one rated them 5 stars or even 4 stars! They got 3, 2 and alot of 1 stars. This company sucks. Their products are garbage. I've known this but still i buy once in a while if it's an unusual item. I contacted their corporate office because I received ear pods 2 months ago as a gift and they don't charge. I didn't ask for money back, just to swap charging piece. Their customer service is lousy like their products. They did nothing, no help at all. Very sad,never seen such poor service.

Archaic return policy/ Inaccurate product description.

No options to return pillow even if the pillow is too big therefore unusable. Nowhere on the product page was a size option listed or available to choose from. I’ve actually been using decent Brookstone pillow bought at Bed Bath and Beyond and needed a replacement. There is apparently nothing like it sold on the Brookstone website. If you want to loose your money to a now archaic “brand” choose Brookstone.

I purchased a sleep pillow from…

I purchased a sleep pillow from Brookstone.com, all their sleep pillows say Final Sale, no return allowed. I thought it was a trustworthy company and ordered one. It arrived with multiple stains showing it had already been used for an extended period of time. I wrote an email to Brookstone customer service, no answer. I tried calling 3 days after sending the email, the phone gets disconnected after being on hold for 20 seconds, I tried twice and had the same result. I do not advise to purchase anything from this company.

Headphones not working

I got some headphones last month and they worked great, the Sound was great, the noise canceling was ok at best but it was fine for the price. The quality seemed good, so overall pretty satisfied. I then went out one day (it was pretty cold) and the sound quality began to get worse. When I came home I turned them off and put them to charge. When I tried turning them back on they didn’t do anything. It’s been a few days and nothing changed. Haven’t talked to support although I will do that now
