Purchased a Motorhome from Brownhills in July and won't be buying another one from them.
Numerous issues from the start .
We have done 800miles in our MH, most of that mileage has been taking it back to Brownhills for issues to be rectified.
Latest issue was in February with a faulty leisure Battery.
We have just got our MH back.
Customer service is non existence.

The Technical run through of the vehicle by Rick, was informative, and operation of all systems inside the camper was very clear and easy to understand.

I purchased my 70grand motor home at the end of January.the sales team was really nice
On the day of handover it was missing the worktop
Extension was told it was on order after few emails back and fourth now told it could be the 23/4/26 .
On the 2nd time of useing it the power steering failed its is currently in the work shop . No one as phoned to apologise are even if we have any holidays booked wth the motorhome .over all not happy with brown hills

Bought a van, on collection there were faults that needed fixing. We had to wait for over 4 hours and still not fixed. We had to take it home so they arranged to collect couple of weeks later. They picked van up had it for 1 week but on return only 1 of many issues had been fixed and the engine management light was now on. When we contacted customer services they disputed that the engine light was nothing to do with them despite us getting independent diagnostics which conclusively proved it was on when they dropped the van back off. Emailed sales director and they then agreed to fix all repairs and make good. They collected the van, have had it for over 2 weeks and still not completed the repairs or communicated with us regarding this. When we asked about the engine management light they said it was just a battery fault and they charged the battery to fix it which totally contradicted the 4 faults the independent diagnostics found. Customer services is appalling and did not deal with the issue, merely try to absolve themselves of all responsibilities.

Excellent experience purchasing our Motorhome from Brownhills - right from our first visit to them at the NEC Motorhome show their sales team were spot on, introducing themselves and offering to help us with just the right amount of sales technique, leaving us to keep looking. We felt so comfortable with the salesman Shaun Holmes, we chose to buy from them at the show!
He helped us understand all the options and ranges of motorhomes, and helped us choose ours which is perfect for us. The quality and specification of our Elddis Evolution is superb.
Throughout the whole process of purchasing the brand new motorhome he has been fantastic, always keeping us informed the whole way through, helping us with anything we asked.
On collection day the whole team at Brownhills were wonderful, lots of special touches which made the day very special! Thank you Shaun and the whole Brownhills Team. Would highly recommend.

Having chosen a new motorhome to purchase which went well the actual collection & handover was very disappointing. Without going into to much detail, which would be to long to fully explain, my view is that the main issue is that the Sales people do not have a full understanding of each of the models they are selling. In our case, it was not fully explained what additional fitted options would be included in the purchase price. It wasn't until the day of collection that we discovered this. We ended up having to pay an additional 3k for the options to be fitted that we were expecting to be included. Furthermore, we had to wait another week for these options to be fitted which resulted in a further trip up to the dealership from London, at an additional cost. At no point have Brownhills offered to cover our travel costs for the abortive visit, which in my view would have been the least they could have done. Very disappointed in their customer service.
Following my previous comments & Brownhills response they have contacted me by phone and have confirmed that they will raise my points internally.

Brownhills have a vast range of multi-manufacturer product available on site to view at leisure. The ‘no pressure’ sales experience with the vastly experienced Johnathan Caudwell (10/10) who guided us gently through the process from start to finish was pleasantly refreshing. Handover was excellent with Clive (10/10) taking his time to run through all aspects of our new Motorhome. Brownhills’s back office & prep team kept us fully updated with order progress by email & telephone therefore there systems get a 10/10 justifying our overall 5 star review & recommendation.

We picked up our new motorhome last week from Brownhills and apart from a couple of issues which are being sorted out we received excellent service from everyone especially Joe Brent and the handover guy Rick. They have contacted us several times this week to make sure that everything is okay with the MH. So far we have received great service and hope that it continues.

I came in to buy my first camper not knowing to much I spoke to Shaun holmes in sales he was very knowledgeable and friendly we had a chat and I chose the van and Shaun went through everything I needed to know the van I wanted was being made and told me it would be in around beginning of April he kept me informed on how things were progressing and it arrived early I’ve had my first break away in it was fantastic

We decided on a whim to visit Brownhills to see how much we could get for our current campervan. We met Shaun in the showroom and he spent a considerable amount of time with us. We decided to have a look at new vans whilst ours was being assessed. Shaun was very polite and helpful. We went away to mull things over and after some negotiation with Shaun we decided on a new van. Shaun’s customer service and attention to detail was second to none and we can’t say enough good things about him. When we collect our new van, we received the same excellent service from him once again.

Needed advice about a spare for my Hymer. Darren in that dept. Is a top guy. Delt with him over 15 years and every time he is so helpful and knowledgeable. Not to mention good humered and efficient. Part identified gave me advice to fit and sent same day,

I have just had my brand new motorhome for a bit under 2 weeks at this stage so it's early days. So, my review will deal with the sales and handover process which is what I have experienced so far. Overall, I've been very pleased! The sales process was handled by Jonathan who guided us through the vehicle and process without pushy selling and with everything based simply on facts and information. We found this really useful because other dealers we have visited were more interested in getting a deposit early before we had time to take in what we had seen and heard. The presentation of the vehicle, explanation of warranties etc was great and we were happy with it. Once we took delivery of the motorhome, we completed the handover with Rick. Rick knows everything about our motorhome! Rick explained absolutely everything to me which I understood clearly (but did not necessarily remember initially!). However, having seen questions others have asked about our model and so on and when I had to do things myself I found that Rick had already explained it to me and I was able to get familiar with things more quickly. The motorhome has been great so far and I really hope I will be still saying the same things a year or two down the road.

We had previously bought a motorhome from Brownhills in 2020 so when we decided to change last week we didn’t hesitate to return to view their stock. We were so pleased to see a motorhome of the type we had identified before viewing. As we are cautious people we returned home to give ourselves time to think. The next day we returned and were delighted to see Jonathan Cauldwell who had dealt with us all those years ago. We secured our deal and met Alex in the office who was also very courteous. Having agreed to buy with part exchange we returned home. Our handover was the following week and we were met by Jonathan, excellent as always. Clive, the technical advisor showed us around our new motorhome explaining all to us. He was absolutely excellent and anything we didn’t understand he revisited. Lee then finished our paperwork with us and we then had lunch in the cafe courtesy of Brownhills followed by browsing and purchasing our needs for our new motorhome. Many thanks indeed to every one of the staff. We will, as before recommend Brownhills to our motorhome friends.
