BUDGETLOCKSMITH.CO.UK ARE AN EASTERN EUROPEAN SO CALLED BUSINESS,

YOU SAY TO YOURSELF IF ONLY...BUT THEN IT'S TOO LATE YOU GIVE THEM THE WORK WHICH I DEEPLY REGRET. LONG STORY SHORT, HE QUOTED ME £200 BEFORE WORK STARTED ON A DOOR THAT WAS JAMMED, DUE TO A BROKEN PVC GEARBOX THAT WAS NOT OPENING THE TOP AND BOTTOM LOCKS. I WAS LEAD TO BELIEVE THIS INCLUDED LABOUR AND PARTS, HOWEVER TO MY SURPRISE HE CHARGED ME £200 LABOUR PLUS £200 FOR REPLACEMENT PVC GEAR BOX, AND £50 CALL OUT CHARGE. MIND YOU THIS WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY CALL OUT. TOTAL COST £450 FOR LESS THAT 1 HOURS WORK. I COULD HAVE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW DOOR. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY YOU WILL REGRET IT.

As a single mum of 3, my front door lock had completely given way. I panicked and rang these first as they were at the top of google. I asked the lady on the phone if there was a call out charge and ahe said no. I wss asking for price but couldn't understand her. When the guy turned up, he came in a very old car which again put me on edge. I showed him the problem and wss aging for prices and before I knew it we were looking at more or less £400 and still not guaranteed to be fixed. I told him i wasn't paying that amount and asked him to leave and thats where he asked for his call out fee. I explained that the lady on the phone said that there wasn't one. He wasn't leaving without but I stood my ground. He really tried to intermediate me but thank fully I can hold my own but other people would have just paid. This is a pure scam and I hope people read reviews, unlike I did. Lesson well and truly learnt

This company is set up to scam people. It acts a front to feed local spurious locksmiths.
We ended up using LOCKSMITH ON CALL LTD

They charged £543 for a opening a bedroom lock and replacing it with a new one, after quoting £49 on the phone and then £180 when they got to the job.
After 30 minutes of work the engineer asked for £543 which is outrageous.
When we spoke to the " head office" to query the invoice they lied to us stating the engineer had quoted £543 and they had bodycam evidence to prove it! Neither of which is true.
Avoid Budget Locksmith and Locksmith on call Ltd at all costs and spread the word
