I’ve bought 3 cars interstate using Carinspect. 2 in Sydney and 1 in Brisbane and can’t recommend them highly enough.
Super responsive customer enquiry centre and friendly professional mechanics who rang me immediately after the inspection to discuss the report. I’ve used their premium report option each time and it’s worth every cent. These guys will tell you the good and the bad about the car with extensive photos to support their report. I’ll be using them again for sure!

I used the car inspect service to inspect a vehicle interstate as it was a long distance away, I got a report back that the car was great with a few minor scuffs cosmeticly which I thought was fine, so bought the car after receiving the report. Flew down drove the car home and noticed the brakes were not great, went to get the roadworthy done and not only did the brakes fail the roadworthy but there was $4000 worth of repairs needed to pass a roadworthy. I raised the issue with them and nothing has come from it. I’ve now paid more than half of what I paid for the car on getting it to RWC. This service is horrible I will never use this service again, nor will I never recommend this service to anyone. They have been trying to palm off and ignore the issue

I live in Melbourne and saw 2 cars online in Adelaide.

I have used this service twice.

The condition report indicated the 1st car was in very good condition.

But the tires were 50 percent worn.

I flew up to Adelaide checked the vehicle and purchased it.

I insured the vehicle and drove it back to Melbourne with no issues.

I brought 4 new Michelin tyres and the vehicle passed the road worthy check with flying colours.

It passed the vic rds interstate inspection and was transfered into my name.

The 2nd car was from a private seller with low klms body and interior looked fine in pics.

So i organised a pre purchase inspection.

After the pre purchase inspection I was contacted by the mechanic and updated on the condition of the vehicle.

It was deemed to be in poor to fair condition.

The condition report identified all the components interia body engine transmission electrical operation and performance.

And they were marked worn or needed replacing.

I was very grateful for investing in a pre purchased check.

As this service saved me time money and buyer regret.

I will be using this service in the future to pre inspect all my vehicles.
