I feel I cannot give a true review due to the fact The product I required was out of stock, therefore my order has not been completed.
I was satisfied with the level of service and the range of products in the Truro branch. The estimator who came to measure up was polite an professional.

I chose to wait for the product to be restocked and once the order is complete I would be willing to give another review.

Very happy with the service we received

Don't act like it's a chore when someone asks for different quotes. Get orders right and reply all the time. It's like pulling teeth staff don't really seem as if they want to ho the extra mile. I would prefer to shop elsewhere whe staff care abd want to help happily.

Truro, Cornwall Branch.
Firstly our shopping experience was horrendous. We walked into store and were not spoken to by any of the staff. We carried on walking and then one staff member burped out loud. Manager was eating a pasty, did not speak . We were then just about to walk out when a lady called ALI asked if she could help. I explained what just happened, she looked extremely embarrassed and was very apologetic. She helped us with our order and was wonderful. If she had not stepped in we would have walked out. The three men sat at the desk totally ignored her when she asked them something. I am 55 years old and I have never ever witnessed such disgusting customer service. Ali should be the manager not the one who ignored us eating a pasty.
I can say we are more than happy with our carpet and the fitters were wonderful.
As for the manager and 3 men staff they should not be in the job.

Liam Dent just came to measure our lounge. Very thorough and approachable. Listened to us and sorted all our concerns. Even checked carpet against colour of our sofa which is on order still. This is what customer service should be everywhere!

Great instore service by AJ. His advice was welcomed and taken on board.
Also great surveyor service and advice.
Both were extremely knowledgeable and not at all 'pushy'.

There was a big problem but Carpetright Managers did manage to get this resolved successfully and I'm OK with the outcome.

My Sales Advisor, Aj, at the Truro store was extremely helpful, running through all the related costs involved, helping me to save money. I was surprised that my new bathroom flooring could be laid the following week!

Samples arrived swiftly, allowed me to decide what carpet I wanted.
Purchase was straightforward, member of staff explained breakdown of the bill and arranged date and time for delivery and fitting

AJ gave us a good shopping experience.
The surveyor was good and informative.
If the fitting is as good we will be very happy.

We had carpets and flooring fitted from CR. Various issues with the store and fitter with communication and general professionalism. Not what you expect when you've paid a national chain over £7,000. I wouldn't expect that from a small local store.
Escalated to Head Office who do not care about the quality of the fit, relying on that the contract is with consumer + fitter. They literally schedule the fitter, they are not a supply only store. To take no responsibility and not be in any way concerned that the fit is far from perfect is so very concerning.
Regarding the poor service and my complaint about that and the unprofessionalism - they won't reply. Their only response is to say they will address issues internally but can't tell me how. In what way is this an acceptable response to a complaint? I don't believe they've even read my complaint and understood why I'm so unhappy.
This company do not care about customers, the quality of their products, the quality of the fit, or providing any resolution if the customer isn't happy. It makes me sick that I gave them any of my money.
