We are a direct lender for qualified applicants, and all loan terms, payment schedules, and total repayment amounts are fully disclosed before any agreement is signed. The example you mentioned regarding a $200 loan costing approximately $265 refers to customers who repay the loan on or before their first scheduled due date. Longer repayment terms naturally result in higher total repayment costs because payments are spread over time, which is clearly outlined in the loan agreement prior to acceptance.
For example, a customer who chooses to keep a loan active over several months will pay more overall than someone who pays it off early. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges — every payment amount and total cost is presented upfront for review before funds are deposited.
We also want to clarify that we do not “spam” consumers. Customers who submit applications may receive communications related to their loan inquiry, account verification, or offers they opted into during the application process.
We appreciate all feedback and continuously work to improve transparency and customer experience.

Total bait and switch company these people are definitely scammers they approved me for $650 loan I did all the paperwork they gave it back to me said I was 100% approved the money would be in my account the next morning I needed a medical emergency for one of my children they guaranteed my money would be in my account I got all the confirmed approvals and paperwork was done and at the last minute at the very next day they didn't tell me anything the money was not in my account I called them and said oh we denied you at the last minute I said what do you mean I have all the approvals and that paperwork shows that I was approved what do you mean I'm denied oh underwriting took one last look and denied you total bait and switch they told me I would get the money back 10AM the next morning and then I didn't and I needed the money for a medical emergency for my child these people are unprofessional and I would not recommend them at all they pulled out the rug from under me when I needed the money the most to help my child and I've emailed them twice to rectify the issue and they will not get back to me do not waste your time with this company they are beyond unprofessional and they are totally a bait and switch scam. artists.

Being told that funds would be available by a specific time and then not receiving a clear, proactive update is not acceptable. We want to clarify that while we do not perform a traditional credit check with the major credit bureaus, we do use Clarity Services as a verification and risk-assessment tool to help protect both our customers and our company from fraud and duplicate applications. This process is different from a hard credit inquiry and does not impact your credit score in the same way.
We are also very sorry to hear about your experience with our customer service. Hanging up on a customer is never acceptable and does not reflect our standards. We take this feedback seriously and will review it with our team to ensure better communication and support.

Don't do it. I took out a small loan right before Christmas. The first payment was scheduled to come out of my account on December 26th. They not only took the payment but the entire loan amount, leaving my account negative and me with no way to pay any other bills. I called first thing Friday morning and spoke to a service agent that confirmed my payment was received and that my account was paid in full. I asked to speak with a supervisor because I want to know why this happened and what they're going to do to fix the problem they created with my bank account. I was told I would hear back from the with a resolution within 4 hours. 72 hours later, my account is still overdrafted and nobody has bothered to respond. When I called back this morning to speak to a supervisor, they refused to speak with me. This is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. Just run.

Nice people and good company
applied for a loan with Cash America Today to help remodel my nail salon. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but the process was way easier than I expected. They were super helpful and didn’t make me feel overwhelmed with paperwork or jargon.

I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I was told on Monday my application was approved. I did the bank process, the rep talked to underwriting, and I signed loan documents. I was told I’d receive my funds in 1-2 business days. I checked my bank today and my loan status and it says application withdrawn. I called and spoke to someone this morning and was just given the reason “underwriting denied it.” After being told Monday they approved it. Of course I was never notified it was withdrawn. No reason given. And magically no supervisor was available to speak. Definitely do not suggest this company to anyone at all.
