Catch+Release Avis 28

My content was chosen by a company and the initial process was smooth. When it comes to payment, that's when I have an issue. We are told that we will be paid after registering with bill.com and 45 days after the video is licensed. My video was licensed on 2/1 and it is 4/6 and I have still not received payment. I can see the invoice but it has not been paid out. It is very frustrating to see my content being used, but not receiving payment in a timely manner. I was told that catch & release would look into it but I wanted to share my honest experience. Creators should be paid on time.

I initially left a 1 star review but went back and edited it, because a few hours later the payment was sent to my account. Maybe my emails finally made the change.

I honestly just signed up on a whim and I never thought in a million years that one of my videos that I literally made over a year ago would be chosen for a company's advertisement or anything. I also liked the option to negotiate how much I wanted to charge the company to use my video. I didn't actually negotiate but I loved that I had the option. I was grateful to have been selected. I think I made a great decision in signing up.

Just a month after opening my account I got a photo of my cat licensed, just him being his goofy self on top of my husband's piano. The photo was taken with my old iPhone, no fancy edits.
