No stars! Chasing a debt that doesn't exist!!Wasting more of the governments money?? How about HMRC answer the phone and check their bank before they send things to debt collectors. These agencies don't answer the phone, nor their chats and constantly send automated messages which are utter rubbish!

Yesterday I had a bill arrive from CCSCollect indicating I owed £1700 income tax which was a bit of a shock. I went onto their website and logged in with the reference on the invoice and it did indeed show the £1700 debt, but without any breakdown or details as to how this figure had been arrived at. I immediately called HMRC (Just 58 minutes of inane muzak hold time) and spoke to a pleasant operator who - between his screen and his supervisors - shows that I had no tax liability currently, and they had no knowledge of how CCSCollect had gotten involved.
I believe CCSCollect are a legit collection company employed by HMRC but as a Government proxy their modus operandi leaves a lot to be desired. HMRC advised me to ignore (but keep) the letter and wait for any follow-up. Great.

SCAM!! Got a text message telling me they had been instructed to collect an unpaid parking charge notice. Said it was for Basildon council but when I clicked through to pay it said Chelmsford.

Called both councils and they said it was a scam. No reg, location, date or time. In my maiden name from 10 years ago.

Then sent me two more over the week, different PCN numbers.

Email the company to ask for more details and no reply.

Absolute SCAM!

Got a text message saying the council has brought a parking ticket against my name, i visited the area 2-3 months ago. i never have had a letter or any notification so i called the council who have no such parking tickets against my name. this is a scam!

This company are scammers but look quite genuine. I had a text which said they were instructed to collect a debt on behalf of my Local Authority parking department. The amount wasn’t a large sum and the link it sent you had my name and my local authority’s logo on it. No details of the offence was provided so i phoned the local authority’s logo parking department to see if it was real. They confirmed they don’t use this company and there was no records of any parking fines for me. Absolute scammers.

These scammers have been sending me emails,phone calls, txt messages tyring to SCAM MY MONEY claimimg i owe money. funny how the tax man has over charged me consistently for 5 years and will not sort it out.
now these idiots have turned up saying i owe them these people gave me this phone number 07465 223503.
this person didnt have a clue what i was talking about.

CCS IS A TOTAL COMPLETE SCAM SET UP BY THE GOVERNMENT SO THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE BACK MY MONEY. exactly the same as when an american solicitor had all my data,personal details,bank details i was O.M.G. how. i was intersted when they said i have 664 gbp to come back to me, if i gave them permission to release my money they will charge anything they like for the pleasure. they still hold my money fraudsters

Contacted a 4 time stroke survivor and demanded payment within 7 days. No explanation what for.

I explained she isn’t capable of dealing with her own matters so please let me know the steps for me to get authority to discuss her account. They completely ignored me.

When I chased them up they said sorry we can’t talk to you as you haven’t passed security despite them never making known to me how to do so.

The stress will probably cause the 5th and final stroke to my mum at this rate

I personally had a very professional and calming experience with CCS. I was anxious and worried about the letters I had received from HMRC due to unforeseen circumstances and my caller, Guardia, couldn’t have been more helpful and professional helping me to resolve my debt.

Total scam.Thry tried to charge me i will own to HMRC next years Unbelievable.

This company could IMPROVE by dissolving! They are a disgrace and should be closed down immediately. DO NOT GIVE IN TO THEIR MANIPULATION TACTICS!!. Furthermore, DO NOT give them any personal information e.g. date of birth, postcode, etc. they will use them against you. It beggars belief that this so-called-company has not been prosecuted and closed down. DISGRACEFUL HUMAN BEINGS.

CCS is legit. I’m confused by the negative reviews as I have had several debts that they have sorted for me. Their portal and patience is amazing. I can pay the payment back when I want and how much I want to do. Kemi is a really good colleague who helped me and supported me with my mental health needs and her other colleague. 10/10

I was in touch with ccs today and can’t speak high enough off lady I spoke to , think they called her shasis . Very helpful with my dispute

Chasing me for a debt I don't owe and cant find an email?

Absolute scam of a company chasing me for an alleged HMRC debt. Totally fabricated. I checked with HMRC and I owe nothing. These scammers need to be shut down.I will be reporting them to the relevant authority.

Constant calls and emails from this cowboy outfit despite me blocking my number and email address and TELLING them they have the wrong person.

I WILL be looking to take this further if their harassment doesn't end.

I can see why people buckle and pay just to get them off their back for an easy life. But this time they have it wrong and I WILL stand my ground.

This company is a total scam. Sent a letter saying I'm owed money to HMRC I contact HMRC who confirm that I don't owe any money I call them back to get the case closed and they just keep going round and round saying you're gonna have to pay more interest we're not gonna close the claim and refuse to connect me to a supervisor manager and try to get me to share personal information. They have also targeted an elderly relative in the 80s . I'm going to look into which professional body I can refer them to for investigation into illegal operations.

Letters have been received at our address addressed to unknown individuals. We contacted the company to update the details, but the letters continue to arrive under different names, claiming money is owed to HMRC.

We have never received any correspondence directly from HMRC addressed to these names at our address. This situation raises concerns that there may be a scam involved within this company, and we are unsure why HMRC is being associated with them.

Received an email from CCS saying I owed money I had already paid. Called up to dispute and it was sorted within minutes by Jessie. Nice fella and easy to talk to
