Just moved in to my house after finding the perfect family home. Always wanted to own my own house but high street banks alway said computer says no. After finding Chartwell I put in my details and had a mortgage in principle in 24hrs the 2 lads Kenny and josh were brilliant really good communication and always doing there best.with out them I don't no if I would be in my new house now all I can say is what a brilliant company and excellent staff if you have had trouble with hight Street banks try these guys I would recommend 100x over thankyou Chartwell Kenny and josh 😀

I was referred to Chartwell by L&C who advised they couldn't help us. I was incredibly anxious about the mortgage process, especially given our existing debt. I genuinely didn’t think getting approved for a mortgage would be possible at this current stage but gave them a call to find out.

Me & my wife are first-time buyers with some adverse credit history. We thought we would struggle to find a mortgage but Tristan was just superb. He guided us through what we would need to do to get our credit files in the best shape to present to lenders.
Once we had done that he found us the best possible deal and supported us through every stage of the process. He is clearly well-experienced and manages to explain things in such an easy-to-understand way, that is makes everything simple.
He was quick ro reply to any questions (if he says he will call back then he does!) and we felt very well looked after at every step of the process.
Once we got a decision in principle and proceeded to the full mortgage application, Tristan's colleague Josh was on-hand to help with the processing stage and again, we felt very well looked after throughout.
I cannot praise the team at Chartwell enough. Highly recommended and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Chartwell funding is an absolutely superb firm to deal with. Me and my partner tried a different mortgage broker before and were told that we wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage due to using a couple of payday loans almost a year prior to trying to secure a mortgage. We were told we would have to wait at least 6 more months or up to a year before it would be worth attempting to apply. This was obviously disappointing as we were about to be made homeless by our landlord and didn’t want to throw more money away renting and had also found the dream first home which was well within our price range to afford.
Due to the circumstances I felt it not worth giving up so tried another firm which was when we found Chartwell funding and our advisor Daniel Lawrence who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He explained everything we had to do and was incredibly reassuring and positive about our situation. Even going above and beyond by submitting our application and ringing to confirm we had been accepted outside of office hours.
We are now living in our new home beginning the next chapter of our lives and this is largely thanks to Dan and the whole team at Chartwell Funding, would highly recommend and will definitely be using again when it is time to remortgage.
