AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - unless you want to pay £170 in parking fines or go to court and have your car clamped in the driveway of your own home with un actionable customer service due to disinterest as complaints and appeals are passed between up to four organisations. The parking app appears intentionally MISLEADING and despite paying for parking can still end up paying an extortionate amount in fines financially not to mention loss of time and peace of mind. Customer service are not interested in support, improvements or wellbeing of their end users.

Citipark one of cheating company who they making stupid reason to raise PCN charging notice I provided evidence to them to make appeal to avoid PCN charge notice, them staff denied and said you need to contact to baysentry who issue this notice they when I tried to contact BAYSENTRY to make a appeal they don’t accept appeal over the phone call, then I tried to trough website but can’t open them web page so 100% cheating citipark is one of the parking mafia
Would give zero
Would give zero. Parked in Leeds because they enticed me with a £5 offer, accidentally selected the wrong date for parking (chose sun instead of sat) then got a £100 fine. Explained my error but was told it was not an excuse because someone else could have had my spot.
Will never go there again. Money grabbing

Genuinely the worst signed carpark I’ve ever been to. In Manchester you have to pay after works and nowhere there does it say that. I go onto the app and there’s no option to change the duration of my stay. Carpark and app must’ve been made by cretins. And got a fine for it

I made payment to the wrong Carpark via the app
Zara, the CitiPark customer service representative sorted a refund of my incorrect payment and walked me through the correct procedure
Friendly helpful and professional throughout.
Extremely disappointed
We pre-booked car parking for an event at Manchester AO Arena however we were unable to locate the car park within a reasonable time frame before the event started so we had to find parking elsewhere. Citipark did not provide any useful information on the booking confirmation and the information online is misleading which led us to the wrong street meaning we could not locate the car park. The address online states New Bridge Street however using this street name does not take you to the road the car park is on. Citipark are refusing to provide a refund. I would advise not booking a car park space through Citipark and using the much cheaper options available close by. Extremely disappointed.
broken app
I received two PCNs despite having clear screenshots proving I attempted to pay through the CitiPark app. The app repeatedly failed to recognise my vehicle or calculate the correct payment, saying there was “no active parking session.” I’ve used CitiPark regularly for years with no issues, so I know how their system normally works — this was not user error.
My appeal included timestamped screenshots and a detailed explanation, yet I received a generic rejection stating their systems were working fine, with no indication that anyone had actually reviewed the evidence. It felt completely automated and dismissive.
It’s unacceptable to be penalised for an app failure that was out of my control. Ignoring clear proof undermines any sense of fairness or accountability. I will not be using CitiPark locations again and strongly advise others to keep screenshots of every payment attempt — you may need them.
Worst ever parking experience at Bell…
Worst ever parking experience at Bell Street Car Park, had pre-booking at Bell Street Car Park through Just Park app from 10am to 19:00 hrs, reached the car park around 10:25am to learn that the car park is full. I don't see any point in pre-booking if the car park doesn't protect parking bays for commuters who pre-book. I had to travel back to home resulting lot of stress , waste of fuel and time.
Update :31-12-2025: I haven’t received the refund yet!
Unfair Tickets After 20 Years of…
Unfair Tickets After 20 Years of Parking Here
I’ve been parking my car at the Edgware Road / Bell Street Citipark for over 20 years. I’ve always held a valid season ticket, and I’ve never had issues in the past.
Now suddenly, BaySentry keeps issuing me tickets without reason. I have no idea why — nothing about how I park has changed, and I’ve already paid for my permit. It feels like they are targeting loyal, long-term customers unfairly.
Getting these tickets after two decades of paying for parking here is extremely frustrating, stressful, and feels completely unjust. Their system clearly isn’t working properly, and it seems they don’t value long-standing customers at all.
Stay away from Citipark - scammers!
Used ther site I'm Manchester - Tarrif Street. Paid on the app they tell you use to then get a fine saying I had not paid. Sent proof of payment (screen shot of the app), but they stated that because I had not put in my reg no, it was not proof of payment for my car. Maybe, I had happened to pay for a different car in that same car park, that exact same date and time in a car park that they had photos of my car in! The app did not ask for the reg to be entered, otherwise I would have done that - this is the app that they tell you to use. I appealled to POPLA who confirmed I had paid to park correctly, but I had not followed the 'rules shared on site' (the reg no issue) so were still liable for the fine!?!? There were no signs on site telling me to do this - I just followed instructions by paying via the app. I believe that if people appeal, they send POPLA false signage that isn't actually on site (or is not at all of the payment points) and are indeed scamming customers. Stay away from any citipark car parks, just to be sure you don't get scammed and end up having to pay an additional £100 fine.
Both machines not working when I needed…
Both machines not working when I needed to pay and Amex wasn't accepted! I was told to phone (Leeds) in order to pay otherwise I would be fined! I had to phone three times in order to get my payment through. Disgraceful and NEVER AGAIN.
No customer service, just rude
I contacted citipark via email and their phone lines about the possibility of a discount code for parking for a Sunday charity event, I contacted weeks ahead was advised to email. Did email...no reply...chased and emailed. Contacted the media team..no reply. This is just so incredibly rude.
We parked in the Leeds Dock location
We parked in the Leeds Dock location. Two separate, but consecutive days in the same location. Paid using the CitiPark mobile application for both days, the price presented by their own app. They fined us, first for not paying the second day (we sent them receipts showing we did). Then they advised we should have paid £4 but only paid £0.97. We argued that we paid what they asked us to pay (we can't edit or modify the price). They responded that it clearly states what the charges are per hour (in fairness they do!) but those same signs, tell parkers to "use their mobile app to pay". They didn't contact us to cure the mistake, just send us a fine. How is this acceptable? I've been reading up on this and have countless similar experiences, they are scamming customers with faulty, uneditable prices to pay then fining them for not realising the amount was wrong on their signage.
Disgusting money-hungry scam artists…
Disgusting money-hungry scam artists with terrible, smelly areas filled with human faeces and urine. Lack of management support (if any), with only a focus on money-grabbing tactics. False issuances of PCNs (repeatedly and across many facilities), overall, a fairly terrible company that the general public perceives as having zero care for human beings, only looking to increase the bottom line of profits, while providing nothing of value to their customers.
First time visit to Manchester
First time visit to Manchester, not familiar with the area and unbeknown to me i parked on the Tarriff street Citipark multistorey, before i left i downloaded the Citipark App to pay for the parking, the App located me too Dulcie street car park (which i assumed was the one i was parked on), so i paid the fee - i later received a penalty fine saying that i had not payed for my stay at Tariff street - of course i appealed this and i forwarded them the payment details and told them i used the App which located me at Dulcie street (Which i later discovered is right next door to Tariff street) but they have refused the appeal, i then contacted citipark who were No help at all - Abysmal experience - Avoid at all costs
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE
I am a young girl, my dad was rushed on blue light to Barts Hospital in Barbican due to a heart attack. I had to drive 50 minutes and rush to find parking in the area as I am from outside of London so I chose Citipark Barbican. I accidentally typed in one digit wrong in my registration due to the pressure of the situation, but I did pay for parking. I explained the situation, and I was referred to BaySentry as they completed disregarded my explanation and receipts which is completely inhumane. They have now referred my situation to Bailiffs and want £170! Complete joke.
Avoid Citipark Church, Watford
This car park in Watford (Church) has always been my go to as it's so convenient for the town centre but I don't know what's happened to it since they got rid of the ticket barriers.
Baysentry sent me a PCN (no photo attached of my car and the incorrectbay I was apparently in). The letter was so vague and I had to have proof (of which I had none) to contest it.
On that day (4/12/24) other friends of friends had problems/received PCN's from Church Citipark via Baysentry, and in my appeal I said something was wrong with the paying system on that day, they weren't interested. Definitely won't waste my time (and money) in there again. There are plenty of other options for parking in Watford Town centre.
Swindled by scammers
I parked my car in Tariff st Manchester which is a high crime area, the lifts weren’t working and several lights were out of action so when I returned to my car to pay you are Presented with a list of car parks, unfortunately in the darkness I pressed the wrong park but Citipark still got the money. Eventually I received a PCN from an associated company Baysentry solutions I appealed explaining the circumstances but they turned it down. Citipark are even refusing to refund my original fee paid to them. Avoid these unpleasant crooks at all costs.
Deception in order to extort money
We drove into this multistorey car park and tried to get a ticket but the machine would not recognise our registration number so we decided to leave. We then got hit with a £100 Penalty Charge Notice saying that we had trespassed as it's a private land. I really think this company, Citipark and is running a scam because there are signs to the right that says it is a public car park pointing to the multistorey and arrow to the left that it is a private land. I don’t know of how we can be accused of trespassing. The signs are very misleading. This is clearly a trap to catch people out. They are demanding payment, turned out my appeal and saying that they are going to pass it on to a debt collection company without this matter going to court! I am a lawyer and never heard of this. A debt collection company would have to secure a CCJ to prove I owe them any money. DO NOT PARK AT THIS CAR PARK! These people are money grabbing, greedy with no shred of evidence. I will not pay purely because it is an injustice.
Leeds or any CitiPark car park never again
Parked last year in Leeds as part of work the situation was you park download CitiPark app and pay on exiting which I happily complied. Paid £10 for around 3 hours. Spin a year on I have court paperwork saying I have not paid for my parking, provided receipts of parking provided the confirmation on the app. Oh no they are still issuing into court for around £300. If I hadn’t paid I get it however this is robbery that is being trailed through legal routes. They made no attempt to communicate with me about it prior I am utterly disgusted and will never park on a Citi park car park again. I would literally rather cut off a limb. Tried contacting their legal representatives, tried sending a message on the CITIPARK app they are hell bent in taking peoples hard earned money with zero entitlement to it. Wonder how many defaults they have been awarded. Criminal all of it
