I recently started my fitness journey & really pleased I picked city fitness.
They have multiple membership tiers, great options for classes & top notch equipment.
I'm loving Yoga Basics with Grace at Ruakura, she is amazing.
I choose a PT as I'm just starting, Kylie from Te Rapa has been more than expected.
If you are sitting on the fence, jump off & into your nearest City Fitness. You won't regret it!

I have been going to Manurewa CityFitness since it opened. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and greet you every time you walk into the gym. My favourite part of going to the gym though, is the group fitness classes! All of the instructors are so professional, energetic and inspiring 💪

All up I’m happy with my experience at the gym. Always clean and tidy. One thing I would like to suggest is moving the walking machines to the front as when I’m trying to warm up because of the angle of the fans behind me on the wall they blow cold air directly onto my back and neck which is very uncomfortable and I don’t want to have the inconvenience of having to carry a hoodie jacket around with me. Others have had the same experience. I turn the fan off but that isn’t always suitable for those who are already warmed up or who are on the cycles or striders. I have experienced this on multiple occasions.

I always look forward to Kendall’s class. It’s especially fun when Kim is part of it too as 1 gives the easy options. They are so good at explaining the movements and benefits and how to position ourselves to avoid injury. I’m in my 50s and have been coming to Centergy for years. I love it! It helps improve my mobility as I have had a spinal surgery before so avoid doing anything too strenuous and this class is a must for me.

The ladies (and Ivan) that run centergy at Newmarket are great! Lovely, kind and helpful as they guide us through the moves. Thank you Kendall, Kim, Anna and Ju-an.

The best and fun class ive ever attended! I get to start my sunday strong with Kendall & Kim. They are such a great singers and funny, and of course best instructors

Whangarei City fitness has a great community vibe about the place.

Best location in town, fantastic facilities, staff and the people make it the best social place to be in Whangarei.

The Supplement store next door is fantastic for pre and post workout needs too.

Great gym and members with a good community type of culture, a few more 1.25kgs, heavier kettlebells and another lifting platform would be handy :)

City Fitness Petone is a great club to train at. A friendly environment which makes you feel comfortable. The manager Jono is also a lovely person who is always welcoming when he’s in!

Fantastic! Sunday Groove at Lyall Bay is so much fun, a great way to start your day!

The facilities eg, toilet/shower could be a little cleaner but, in general the equipment area is tidy. Machines are easy to access and the vibe in Kelvin Grove is way more chill and i feel less judged when im there. The recovery room is comfy and i feel at ease when i use it. A++. I recommend City Fitness Kelvin Grove, by far.

I have tried a lot of gyms in Welly and I always come back to Petone City Fitty. It’s not too busy and everyone is very friendly!

Nice, new equipment, where I rarely need to wait for anything. I also really enjoy the massage chairs and saunas. I would like to see more free weight equipment, but other than that I really enjoy this gym.

The place is always clean and tidy. Manager and staff are always cleaning and seem to take pride in how the place looks.
The staff are awesome, always friendly and helpful. My PT is fab and makes the gym fun (shout out Train with J). There is no intimidation just a great place to work out.
