My harrowing divorce proceedings dragged on for way longer than we originally anticipated and each new hearing meant having to relive the painful memories of the marriage. Nazia's sensitivity and professionalism kept me going. I am an Italian Citizen living in the UK since 1999. I thought I am resident in the UK automatically because I have lived in the UK since January 1999 cooking and baking for British People for 25 years. However, on 6 October 2024 Home Office raided the restaurant where I work. The Immigration Officers told me I am illegal in the UK. They confiscated my passport and told me to leave the UK as you are illegal. I started seeking legal advice. I saw few solicitors who told me you cannot succeed because you never applied for NINO in 25 years and because you did not apply before 9 August 2023. However, I then came across Bledar Meti at City of London Solicitors. He cross-examined me, requested documents from me, helped me apply for NINO and the same day he submitted my EUSS application. Today 19 November 2024, let alone that he secured me leave to remain in the UK, but he managed to secure me Indefinite Leave to Remain. Thank you Bledar Meti at City of London Solicitors.
