Great platform for project management

Great platform for project management. From pre-sale to close-out, CoConstruct produces a firm path to follow. One of the most effective client communications platforms available. Really enjoy using it extensively on our of our projects.

This is what CoConstruct has done for us…

This is what CoConstruct (CC) has done for us, a quick overview of the pros and cons.

First, think of Coconstruct as the Swiss Army knife of softwares, it is an all in one packed full of well thought-out tools that work seamlessly together, you couldn’t ask for more!

At first the previous software that we used allowed us to do what we thought, did very well, until we started growing as a business and needed to manage more customers, trades and staff, this is where the headaches started, there was a lack of connection in our communication between all parties and felt like we were sinking quite quickly in that area.

Being that we were comfortable with estimating using our previous system, we didn’t really like the looks of CC estimating platform but CC seem to have a strong grip on the communication side of things which was more important to us at that point.

Nearly two years In to CC now, I cannot be more happier to have made the move over to CC. Now that I look back, at first we thought we preferred the estimating in previous software, however, CC has proven to be far more superior estimating software than we first thought. What we thought we were doing well in the previous software and other apps that we were using, CC has made it so much better and easier to do in every aspect of operating our renovation business and all under the one umbrella. We continually save a tremendous amount of time and headache in quoting, managing and in communication with all parties on a daily basis. Our projects are far more accurate in budgeting, tracking and more importantly for us, communication between customers, trades and staff it has been amazing.

So what’s the con or CC, there really isn’t all that much other than the learning curve, setup and time to transition over. The area that took the longest was us working out how we wanted to track our budgeting for our projects in combination with our accounting software Xero, we wanted a high level of accuracy so a bit of working out was required. Now that I understand CC I see that it does an amazing job of tracking budget, you need some time to get use to it.

Learning the software was made easy by CC they guide you every bit if they way, just a little bit of time needed with one on one sessions and you getting use it to. It’s well worth the initial time you need to invest.

After moving over we got in to trouble a couple or times with not knowing what we had done, however, CC were always there to help. I imagine they know how stressful it can be if you can’t make sense of what you’ve done, especially after a job is in motion. You can expect a level of support with very little wait time which is reassuring.

At first CC seems a little complicated, this dues to being packed with so many tools, the more you use CC the more you start to realise a lot of these tools are needed. CC is actually quite basic from a user point of view. Once you understand how to use it, it’s quite easy to use and see what staff have done if something has gone wrong, it’s easy to fix. Cc is a very well put together software, and allows the owner an incredible amount of control and overview of projects, everything is tracked well so you can make sense of any part of the project.

Who is this for, anyone who builds or renovated. I highly recommend this software to any size team even one man operated business. It may seem costly, but it cost more not to have it in my opinion, you will only know that once you’ve used it for a while, it an asset to the business you will soon come to realise.

We're all on the Same Page!

Excellent software to keep everything organzed and recorded. Our installers, builders, and office staff as well as designers are all able to be on the same page on the project. CoConstruct also offers support and takes care of us very well.

For years we managed our busy building…

For years we managed our busy building company with whiteboards / xcell spreadheets and emails , constantly struggling to align and integrate . we took the dive into Co Construct 4 years ago and it has transformed the way we do business .. I think the best thing is CC is completely teachable to any new staff after a few weeks even our juniors are proficient in the system .

After a few months of using CoConstruct…

After a few months of using CoConstruct it has become our main tool connecting all aspects of our business under one roof. Management and field staff are up to date on all our projects. Estimating and Proposals roll into project management and costing. Client and subcontractor interface on a task by task basis help keep all those discussions and decisions in order. My bookkeeper integrates quickbooks with our estimates and we can track costs as frequently as we wish. Still finding and learning how we implement. Our field staff has embraced CoConstruct simply because it is easy for them to use.

Coconstruct is wonderful and has changed the way we do business - in a good way. I gave a 4 star review as there is always room to improve some of the processes. You are great at listening to user's input, so I know you'll continue to improve.

Love this system

Love this system. I got CoConstruct for scheduling and communication but are starting to use it more and more for estimating, bidding and financial applications. It provides a clean communication structure for all of my staff, trades and clients.

Always impressed.

I have always been impressed at Coconstruct's immediate and detailed response to my request for assistance and this was no exception. However, the resolution has not always been satisfactory in my opinion. In this case, some changes were made to the file sharing entity of the program which resulted in a more time consuming process for my methods of sending those shared files. I expressed these concerns with the assistant however I was not under the impression anything would change. That being said, the assistant did offer alternate ways of sharing the files to facilitate my needs. Thank you Meredith.

CoConstruct is the best…

CoConstruct is the best sub-client-team-information-Intergrated-file-sharing-messaging app I have ever used in my 25+ year career.

It’s a single location to refer back to everything from conversations you’ve had to sharing shop drawings with multiple sub contractors.

I show it and recommend it to everyone I come into contact with in the industry, in the course of my work day.

When used the way it’s intended, it’s VERY effective and invaluable.

listening to succeed

I have been a Co - Construct user for 10 years. I believe what makes the product so successful is that Donny Wyatt, the founder, has former builders on his staff and therefore the software directly reflects what builders need and want. They have also encouraged and implemented their customers ideas in the development of the product. I believe that effort is what has made Co- Construct a product that will continue to be cutting edge in the homebuilding industry.
