Awful product - causes discolouring on gold plated jewellery
(Still not been contacted by Mr Goodman regarding a compensation of my ruined jewellery, all I required was replacement of the cheaper product £45, not a lot to ask considering the circumstances. Very bad.)
Awful product. My boyfriend and I used the silver and gold jewellery wipes and they discoloured the gold jewellery. He talked to the director of Goodman Bros who distributes connoisseurs products and sold the wipes and the company director Philip Goodman was extremely unhelpful and refused to give compensation for the jewellery that was damaged. Do not buy their products, we are left with discoloured jewellery. Terrible experience.

Dear Alex,
I have assisted your partner where and when possible and this is still in hand. I spoke with the jeweller who sold you the gold plated Thomas Sabo rings. Hermes/Harrods have emailed to say they are investigating this. Our products are sold worldwide and in thousands of UK jewellery stores, the wipes are not designed to remove plating from plated jewellery. The jeweller who sold you the Thomas Sabo gold plated rings is a Connoisseurs stockist and supported this isn't caused by the wipes, but we cant explain why the plating has worn as many things cause this (cosmetics being one). Plating wears off over time, our cleaner has highlighted plating wear and tear on one of the rings.
I will continue to liaise with Hermes to see if we can support you in anyway and understand why the plating is wearing.

We sell a large range and the products that shine, in every way, are the diamond dazzle stick and the silver or gold dips. If you don't have access to water then use the cleaning cloths to bring up a mirror image in your lockets and trinkets.
At extremely reasonable prices you can't go wrong.
