Conroy Removals Avis 

I have dealt with Conroy Removals for two large freight deliveries moving my belongings from the U.K. to New Zealand. They have been extremely professional to deal with and the staff have been great both in the office and on the ground at the point of delivery.
Communication was great and everything ran smoothly. The boys who delivered my shipment were friendly and were careful with unloading, putting everything where it needed to go.
Both my shipments arrived on time and one was delivered ahead of when I expected, which was fabulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend using Conroy.

The initial site visit was fantastic however once we accepted the quote, we were passed onto another department. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the two parties. We were advised that there would be some prepacking the day before, this didn’t happen. We were told they would have two trucks but only one arrived, meaning two trips and not finishing until late evening. Talking to the movers, it became apparent that this job had been subcontracted out and they had little information about the job. The movers were friendly to deal with but they could have been a little more careful as we did experience some minor damages.

Conroys have been great, my second move with them and can’t fault the service. Fast and reliable. Thanks guys

Ants and his team where great from the time they arrived at our Auckland home until they finished the offload in Mangawhai.
No issues in the pick up or the offload at both locations.
Will use them again in the next move.

The two lovely Conroy ladies came in like a ray of sunshine. Nothing was an issue and they made the move for me stress free. Their great team work and communication skills made the very hard work they do look so efficient and effortless even on one of the hottest days we had. Their great work ethic all was on show when the charming boys came with the truck. The coordination involved was amazing and I think they were champions. They showed me kindness, patience and care which has made this huge move for me less painful. Also I must give thanks to Conroys from the very first contact to all of the communication updates etc. Looking forward to the day when I can have everything delivered once a home is purchased

Conroys removal team were awesome. The guys were friendly and super efficien. They arrived just prior to the booked time of which we were notified that they were on our way. We would highly recommend them and will be calling them for the next move.

Our move from Kapiti to Papamoa was handled excellently by Conroy Removals. Good communication and great staff at both ends of the journey. Our stuff arrive in good condition. Would recommend and use again.

Packers and movers went the extra mile to get our house packed before the uplift. Friendly staff and hardworking. Same for the staff delivering our container. Would recommend Conroys and use them again!

Great service from a friendly, skilled team. The team from Tauranga were prompt and seemed to enjoy their work as they skillfully placed our belongings in a gigantic game of Tetrus.
After a week in storage we were pleased to receive our belonging in CHB by an equally pleasant crew. Impressed with the focus on re-use of boxes and the clean up afterwards.

Excellent service and a great price. Very impressed with all aspects of undertaking our "mini shift" to the North Island. Quick responses and excellent service by all Conroy's staff, efficient pickup and delivery and all done in a timely manner. Very happy with the whole process and will definitely use again if the need arises.

Very Happy with Conroy. The guys did a very good job loading our furniture etc, they did more than expected.
The delivery date was put back a day but we understand that was out of Conroys hands, the ferries got delayed due to rough weather. We got delayed too.
They delivered early, friendly staff, the container was unloaded fast.
I would definitely recommend and use them again.

They couldn't confirm the start time till the day before, bit stressful with moving house. But able to get started early (8am). The two movers were amazing so efficient and friendly. Only charged for the moving time not in between (waiting for settlement). Great team, great service. Would recommend to anyone.

I had originally made a booking (months in advance) for a specific pickup date in the morning in Palmerston North.
I received a text 2 days prior advising me it would now be an afternoon pickup.
I phoned the number asking for a more specific time (as I had an inter-islander ferry to catch) and was told "mid to late afternoon".
No one contacted me the day of pickup and every time I phoned the number there was no answer.
After many calls to different Conroy offices, I was finally given the Operations Manager's number who sent a special truck to collect my possessions at 6.30pm.
This was done after he sensed my immense frustration!
Thankfully, the delivery process at the other end went far more smoothly and the Nelson branch were professional, on time, easy to contact and very helpful.

Communication was very good and the truck turned up on time. Overall the move went smoothly. Packing and bubble wrapping was done ourselves but we transferred most of the breakable crockery and glassware ourselves to avoid any breakages by the movers. Only one item taken by Conroy, which was very heavy, had a chip on the corner. I noticed the youngest (most inexperienced) of the team was sometimes trying to carry too much or go too fast, and the top box toppled over. Luckily nothing breakable was in it.

From the team handling our storage and bookings to the amazing people who delivered our home from Napier to Auckland, we were thoroughly impressed! The guys who offloaded were absolutely fantastic, friendly, careful, FUNNY, and incredibly strong. Not one negative!!! Impressed all round!! Would only use Conroy!

One recommendation is that it might be time to find your main guy some permanent workers… not ones that just clock out and sit down half way through delivery because it’s too hard! This just adds unnecessary pressure onto your permanent staff member who is already working extremely hard!

The Wellington team did a great job getting my things on the truck and the customer service team were really friendly however when my stuff all arrived all my cardboard boxes and all my plastic boxes that weren’t heavy duty were broken or dented. We also found a tear in our lazy boy however when reading the paper that I was told to sign “to say I received my goods” but actually was to say I received them in good condition it meant that we couldn’t claim insurance. For the money we paid this was disappointing.

The service was great from start to finish, great communication from the office and Nick and Lester were amazing at pick up - very skilled at loading and very efficient with the unload.
