Cooplands Avis 41

I was staying near Withernsea and took a day trip there. I like Cooplands (we don't have them where I live) so decided to treat myself to a vanilla slice.
As soon as I got back to where I was staying I made myself a cuppa and got out my vanilla slice. OMG, half the icing was missing from the top (the missing piece wasn't even in the bag) and it was so dry, tasted like it was a week old. I have no idea why the girl thought it was ok to give a customer this. Has put me off going Cooplands again!!

36p extra to have a cuppa inside in a take out cup is that greed or what !!!

Went to Coplands near Iceland in Doncaster,asked for a salad box,she started putting the ingredients using her hand,no gloves!!when I pointed out that she should wear gloves or have a thong for it she said that is not compulsory!!probably never heard of food hygiene...

Went into the Skipton branch yesterday. The staff were brilliant, Holly made the nicest sandwich I’ve had in ages, the man with the white glasses serving (think his name was Michael) was funny, friendly, helpful and very obliging. We sat and ate in the shop and they really couldn’t do enough for the customers coming through the door.
Next time I’m in Skipton this will be my ‘go to’ for lunch!!! Thank you ☺️

We've been ordering from north Seaton since they opening a branch. Glentons which I'm sure these negative reviews are from is cheap and cheerful. Just half to go in and wait for the staff in pegswood to Finnish chatting and say we don't need "immigrants in pegswood" yeah ok pet won't be back nor the fat one doing nothing but using her clothing to wipe a nose? The pork pie is outstanding the sausage rolls are outstanding. Everything is outstanding. Every Christmas we come here. Only Christian was the sausage rolls has too much pastry but they lived in London family ha. See you next year

Purchased a pork pie today not good the top looked like it was burnt emailed cooplands to be told it was normal I checked on internet the reason apparently it's because lack of filling and casing poor allowing fthe juice to spill out so thanks cooplands for trying it on won't be buying from them again

Just bought a seafood baguette from consett shop, absolutely terrible, wafer thin spread, one piece of cucumber, and rotting lettuce, there was no filling at either side of the sandwich. One person was eating while serving, no hygiene at all while making the sandwich, certainly will never go back.

Cheese savoury sub from Co-oplands is my all time favourite normally but not this time. The bread was dry and the filling was not good there wasn't so much of it and it was more like plain coleslaw it was lacking cheese

Birthday cake for husbands 70th collected from Sutton-on-Sea, Lincolnshire, FANTASTIC and such a good price. Will definitely order again.

Company is using modern slavery on their workers expecting you to work over time before and after work without being paid (literally refused)
They under pay you for work and don’t get back in contact to fix these issues

We had a 10 inch cake for our diamond wedding anniversary in August 25 the cake was beautiful with lovely decorations,

Would just like to Thanks to the lady in cooplands at skipton for looking after my son William, when his bank card didn't work. She still gave him the order and trusted him to go back the next day to pay. which he did but she said because he came back to pay she was letting him have the order with no charge. so kind . Store far to hot, caramel shortcake melted-staff look hot. Shop needs air conditioning

Lisa in the Durham branch has made us several chicken salad sandwiches which are delicious and fresh as the morning due. Pleasure to shop there.
Dont forget your loyalty cards aswell

Staff are really good puchased a cheese onion pasty terrible!!! But lumps in it and burnt pastry ,if I wasn’t late for work would have returned it this is the 3rd time of bad experience in products the sell

Went into cooplands in Beverley with my granddaughter we ask for two ham sandwiches one in brown bread as I have a stomach disorder when we opened them we got two.white sandwiches which I cannot eat white bread also mine had green mould growing on the cake never again will I eat from any cooplands shop.

this company has stopped doing salad !!!! cant believe this, cant get a trifle anymore and its alway exactly yhe same old syuff every time you go in, i will now be finding another bakery thats sells these products, very disappointed indeed

I went into the Cooplands shop yesterday in Hedon, East Yorkshire to buy a Yorkshire Curd cheesecake. Apart from the 25p price hike the actual product had decreased in size and weight by around 50% and was absolutely tasteless.

There were two servers, who seemed to be sharing the same till/computer screen, so I thought maybe one was training.
However, the male server seemed to take over, and with both of them serving me, my order was wrong from start to finish.
I ordered several items:
a chicken salad roll on white bread, no spread, no mayonnaise. The chicken was sparse, there was no tomato included, and the lettuce was brown.
I also asked for a hot chicken salad roll, on brown, no spread and light mayo. I got a white roll, with spread, and salad of brown lettuce and cucumber, no tomato or onion. He did correct it, by taking the filling out of the wrong roll and putting it in a brown one, almost adding spread, which I had to repeat was not required.
We also had 2 cherry danish pastries, both of which seemed stale, a large cup of tea and a regular latte.
This was a really disappointing experience as other outlets in Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea have always given exceptional service and quality.
