Dear FTC,
I am submitting a formal complaint regarding the poor business practices and lack of customer service I experienced as a paying client with two LLCs managed through CorpNet.
Despite being a loyal client since 2017, I recently faced unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience due to CorpNet’s negligence and unprofessional handling of a straightforward request. As the 100% owner of two businesses, I made a simple and reasonable request for a secure, combined payment link to pay compliance fees for both companies in a single transaction. This request was acknowledged by CorpNet management in writing but was never fulfilled, despite repeated follow-ups.
Key Concerns:
1. Ignored Request for Combined Payment Link
I clearly communicated my preference to pay the total amount in one secure transaction, which was disregarded. Instead, I was forced to make four separate payments, each incurring a 3% convenience fee because CorpNet does not offer a standard "add-to-cart" feature, unlike most modern websites. This lack of basic functionality forced me into an inconvenient and costly process.
2. Unsecure Website and Dismissive Response
While attempting to make the payments, I encountered repeated pop-up warnings that CorpNet's website was unsecure. This raised significant concerns about the safety of entering my sensitive payment information. When I brought this to CorpNet’s attention, they dismissed the issue, blaming my browser.
However, after immediately logging into other secure websites, I experienced no such warnings, confirming that the issue was specific to CorpNet's site. This negligence heightened my discomfort, especially amidst rising concerns about global cybersecurity threats.
3. Unprofessional Delays and Stalling Tactics
The company’s delayed responses to my urgent request appeared to be intentional stalling. My emails clearly outlined the urgency due to my compliance deadlines, yet days passed without resolution. Their lack of responsiveness and failure to provide the promised payment link felt like deliberate neglect, further exacerbating my stress.
4. Personal and Professional Disruption
At the time of this issue, I was dealing with a family emergency and was away from home. Out of concern for non-compliance, I felt compelled to rush back, leaving my family behind, just to resolve this matter. This disruption was entirely avoidable had CorpNet fulfilled my initial request in a timely and professional manner.
5. Potentially Fraudulent Practices
Given the repeated stalling, refusal to provide a secure payment link, and disregard for my concerns about website security, I question whether CorpNet’s practices are borderline fraudulent. Forcing me into a position where I had no choice but to make multiple transactions with added fees feels exploitative, especially as a long-time client who has consistently paid on time.
Conclusion and Request for Review
This experience has left me deeply upset and disappointed in CorpNet. As a paying client with a history of loyalty, I expect my requests to be taken seriously, my information to be kept secure, and basic customer service to be provided. Instead, I was treated with disregard, subjected to unnecessary stress, and forced into a financially and emotionally taxing situation.
I have documented proof of all email correspondence, clearly showing CorpNet’s lack of effort to resolve my concerns and their dismissive attitude toward my valid security fears. I feel it is important to bring attention to their poor business practices so other clients do not endure similar treatment.
If there are further steps required to formalize this complaint or provide additional evidence, I am happy to cooperate.

To start, we engaged in their services after an initial call where we outlined exactly what we needed.
They jumped at the opportunity, upselling us to faster turnaround at the first change they had.
Weeks later, we find the service was not completed in the way we asked. Their excuse? We don't offer XYZ service, we use templates and this is the best we can do.
In other words, they knew exactly what we needed and knew from the start they couldn't deliver. Still, they charged us full price, knowing they couldn't deliver.
We spend more money, with a 3rd party, to fix their mistakes, and once we've sent revisions over to Corp net, they still send back final documents with mistakes.
Will never use their services again, and I highly recommend anyone considering to look elsewhere.
