We went in to the shop thinking we …needed a new transmission and it turned out to be something much less significant.
We went in to the shop thinking we needed to get the transmission repaired which would have made a huge repair cost. Turned out to be spark plugs and coil over issue. Talk to Bob he is honest and stands by his work. He fixed the truck in one day and we were happy with the results and happy knowing we were paying significantly less than what we thought. Talk to Bob if you want an honest mechanic and someone you can trust with your vehicle.

Cottman replaced my entire transmission …
Cottman replaced my entire transmission over a year ago and it started acting up. They repaired it out of warranty for free! They will be my transmission go to shop from now on.

Fast turn around and excellent service
Had trouble with our transmission in our Ford F-150 truck. Before taking it to Cottman's we called a Ford dealer and they said it would cost around $4,500 not including labor cost and they couldn't look at it for at least another week. Just walked into Cottman's and spoke with Manny one of their tech's and George the manager. When Manny took the truck for a drive and came back he new exactly what was wrong with the transmission. George promise we would have our truck back within 2 to 3 days from the day we took it in. They both explained everything in detail and didn't talk to us like we were stupid. George even spoke to us about financing our repair work with most repair shops don't offer. I would recommend Cottman's in Lansdale over 150%. Great bunch of guys and very honest. On top of that when my car was done in the time frame George said it would be thumbs up. Like most people do when their leaving they always give a hand shack to say thanks, and George was surprised that I had a pretty good grip. If I was a teacher I would give these guys an A+++++++.
