Wonderful Pre-Ferry Meal to complete our Mini Break.
It was a Monday and we needed to have lunch prior to boarding our return ferry to Portsmouth that was within 15 minutes of Fishbourne. Fish or shell fish was the preference but 1 person did not eat either. Most of the restaurants contacted were closed on Mondays. Then this little Gem in Ryde answered the call and were able to give us a table for four at the time requested 10 minutes at most from the port.
2 of the 4 of us had delicious fish and seafood dishes, 1 had a lovely chicken dish and I had a very good pasta dish. All freshly cooke. They accommodated my small appetite with a suitable small portion and adjusted the price. 2 of us then had a beautifully presented generous sweet of Panna Cotta.There was a total "Can Do" attitude and the staff were delightful with a great sense of humour.
We found free parking in the streets about 5 minutes away from the restaurant.
