The Aran sweater I received is soooooo scratchy. Rather like the wool of 40 years ago. I have received several wool gifts from friends and family, as well as those purchased by myself when visiting Ireland (clothes, throws/blankets, shawls etc) in the last 20 years and the wool has been beautifully soft, so I'm confused. I gave it 3 stars because it's a pretty design and I'll try wearing it with a cashmere turtleneck underneath.

So frustrating and ridiculous. Finally, I receive an email that there are no return authorizations: customers are to address their own return package. However, CIG/Trustpilot had just responded that they are sorry for the slowness of their return authorizations!! Yesterday, I returned the sweater that was too large in my self-addressed package, UPS charged $16.97 to return the sweater. The CIG return process needs to be improved, it is completely substandard.

My tea pot and cup look as good as it did in the picture. Love the design and it’s well made. I haven’t tried the breakfast tea yet since I still have some that I brought over from Ireland. Also I was very impressed on how well it was packaged for shipping. They could have dropped the box from a 5 story building and I don’t think anything would have broken. Good job.

No problem in the ordering process, and it was delivered promptly. One problem was that I had ordered a set of earrings but another set had been sent. I contacted the company via email (had to do some research to find a telephone number). Response was that there had been an error in their catalogue I could either keep was they sent or return for a full refund. The earrings that I had originally order were now no longer in stock. I opted to return, and company said they would send a prepaid postal label. Didn't receive label within a couple of days so emailed them again (can't get my money back until they get their product back). Took a week to get the label. I like this company, and I have bought numerous things before without any issues. I think the time it took for them to rectify my problem was too long.
