Cretarent Avis 44

I have made reservation request for 255 euro. Once they replying to me, stating the catalogue online is old and the prices are also old and offered me to have for 612 euro. I would expect maybe 50 euro difference and that is okay but the price id more than 100% higher.... Any way just something for everyone to watch out.

Instead of a recent Groupe D car, we received an old and worn down Toyota Corolla 4 doors with dirty interior. The model was at least 10 years old without any multi media connection possibilities. Furthermore it was severely damaged from all sides. According to the manager on site, there was no alternative within 1 hour extra waiting time

Cretarent ci è stato consigliato da un amico che era già stato a Creta, ed è stato una garanzia.
Ho prenotato il noleggio di un'auto da remoto, ritiro e consegna all'aeroporto di Heraklion, per un totale di 12 giorni. Nonostante le due ore di ritardo del volo, all'uscita dell'aeroporto c'era ad aspettarci una gentilissima operatrice che ci ha accompagnato all'auto. Questa era parcheggiata all'interno di uno spazio dedicato all'interno del parcheggio dell'aeroporto stesso. Ho scelto il pagamento in loco ed è stato tutto perfetto. Abbiamo compilato i documenti ed effettuato il pagamento all'uscita dell'aeroporto, appoggiandoci ai tavoli del chiosco che si trova dove era parcheggiata l'auto. L'auto consegnata è stata una Pegeout 208 nuovissima con soli 70k km, gomme nuove, pulita e perfetta in tutto. Assicurazione completa per ogni tipo di danno, doppio conducente incluso, ad un prezzo di circa 37€ al giorno. L'operatrice è stata disponibile e flessibile riguardo l'orario di riconsegna e, sebbene avessimo ritardato di circa un'ora rispetto all'orario prestabilito, abbiamo inviato un messaggio di preavviso non ci è stato addebitato alcun costo. Ottima esperienza!

È stato tutto fantastico, mi aspettavano già in aeroporto e in 5 minuti avevo già l'auto, tutto molto smart, veloce e gentile. L'auto era quella che avevo scelto in fase di prenotazione e ci siamo trovati bene. Ovviamente, come penso quasi tutti i noleggi di creta, vieta di andare a Balos non essendo la panda un auto da fuoristrada. A parte questo che è ben specificato nel contratto tutto è andato benissimo anche alla riconsegna dell'auto. Lo consiglio sicuramente!

Ottima esperienza, abbiamo affittato una Panda per 10 giorni: macchina affidabilissima, massima cortesia sia alla consegna che alla riconsegna. Pagato tutto in contanti ma si può pagare anche con carta di credito o di debito. Nessuna sorpresa, massima serietà. Come tutti gli autonoleggi di Creta è vietato espressamente di andare alla laguna di Balos; noi per correttezza e anche un po' per divertimento abbiamo noleggiato solo per un giorno un Suzuki vitara a Kissamos e abbiamo ovviato al problema, ma il parcheggio di Balos era pieno strapieno di auto noleggiate... Fiat Panda Kia picanto aygo e non erano di certo suv...consiglio vivamente.

Hello from Spain, only to say everything was ok with Cretarent. I am very satisfied with the service I received and the seriousness with which I booked the vehicle. My holidays in Creta wouldn't have been the same without this service.

קיבלתי את הרכב תוך 5 דקות ממש ביציאה משדה התעופה והחזרתי בקלות רבה. לאור שינויים נאלצנו להאריך את השכירות והם היו נהדרים וגמישים מאד. זוהי חברת השכרת הרכב הכי טובה שפגשתי אי פעם

Great service, friendly staff and always had a clean and reliable vehicle. Easy pick up at the airport and drop off when returning. Paperwork is quick and simple with no deposit held on credit card or pay cash. We will be back next year.

The service provided was outstanding. Despite our flight being delayed, a representative greeted us at the airport with a warm smile. We rented a car for a week, which performed excellently; however, it unfortunately failed to start due to a flat battery while we were at Limnoupolis water park. Upon contacting the company, recovery assistance arrived within 15 minutes. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Noleggio tramite il sito Internet di cretarent. Abbiamo trovato una signorina ad attenderci all’aeroporto. Tutto perfetto e senza problemi. Da notare che sul contratto (firmato in aeroporto alla consegna della macchina) e’ stato indicato espressamente “only on asphalt, no Ballos”. Noi per andarci abbiamo quindi noleggiato una jeep in loco.

Very nice experience. All was good for us. We had good cooperation, all was in time what we agreed and the price for our car Fiat Panda was very correct!

Sono stato a Creta per una settimana di vacanza con la mia famiglia e abbiamo optato per questo noleggio, in quanto economico.
Come previsto all’arrivo ci aspettava una ragazza che ci ha accompagnato all’auto, che era della categoria richiesta, dotata di seggiolino per bambini come da prenotazione.
L’auto non era nuovissima, però perfettamente funzionante e non ci sono stati problemi di nessun tipo, anche alla riconsegna.

Our flight to Heraklion arrived early and nobody was there to meet us. A quick phone call to the number provided brought the Cretarent agent within a couple of minutes. She walked us to the car just outside Arrivals and we drive out of the airport 40 minutes after landing. Returning the car was just as easy. We paid when we picked up the car. It was fully insured for 2 drivers with NO EXCESS or deposit. Car was in good condition with a quarter tank of fuel. I don't like this system. I think full-to-full is the fairest way. However, Cretarent was significantly cheaper than any other car rental firms we found.

Minibus collected from Chania Airport, After 2 hours of driving we realised there was no AC so had to drive with windows down, rear windows did not open so very uncomfortable for people Sat in the back, dirty seats, radio not working. Overall a very tatty minibus for the cost. I should have returned it there and then but that would have been 1 day of my 7 day holiday wasted. Also during an emergency stop 2 days before handing back I had to use the hand break as foot brake didnt stop in time and only going 40kmph. Terrible experience and when I return I will not be using Cretarent.

We are a couple in our 50s from the UK first time visit to Crete. We wanted to see this little country so rented a car from Cretarent.
Amazing experience from moment I made the booking for an SUV for 7 days collection from Hekaklion Airport and to the point of returning the car to the same collection point. The car cost us 321 euros for the week with no extras as insurance and 2nd driver are included in that price. Alex started to Watsapp us the day before we were due to fly, he met us at the airport when we landed at 2am, he was super friendly, very professional and easy to get on with. He processed our forms, took credit card details, ran ID checks in no time and walked with us to the car while we had relaxed conversation with him along the way. We got an older Rav4 with the body that looked like it's seen some wars in its lifetime, but it was perfect for the Crete roads. The car was reliable, a tough working horse and didn't need to look pretty to tackle the mountain roads. We visited Old Chania, Kissamos Bay, Milatos, Malia, St George Monastery, Vassikilis Olive Factory with this car which never let us down.

Good price, no hidden charges, easy pick up and return. We picked vehicle up around midnight and for first night were staying at a hotel. We followed the lady from Cretarent as she took us to our hotel. Would take no money. Excellent service.

Brilliant, nearly everytime I use a car hire company abroad there is always a hidden catch around insurance costs. Not this time. I booked online needing a car for two weeks and was met upon my arrival at Heraklion Airport by a friendly and helpful english speaking representative. He helped us with the short walk to the car, completed paperwork and we paid. The car was a new twingo with aircon and was spotless. The car was perfect for the holiday. The price too was among the cheapest around. I will definitely be using this firm again and could reccomend to anyone wanting a hassle free car hire...
