Crowd2Fund, in particularly the Reboot Campaign is to be avoided at all costs. I first invested in this fund in 2022.
The promise of 4% interest paid monthly does not materialise. I chased them for interest payments last March (2025), it was explained that there was a back log. I did receive some sporadic interest payments, although I chased them no fewer that 8 times. I have not received any interest since last April (2025). Furthermore, when I first took out the investment, the website detailed that I would be able to re-sell my Reboot Campaign funds on an exchange platform that would be coming soon. Nearly 4 years later, this is still ‘Coming Soon’.

So I have been on the platform since 2021 and invested a bit in the first couple of years. Just £100 here and there diversified across many companies. I have not invested since Covid and have no immediate plans to invest further. Yes I made some money but have generally reinvested into other opportunities on the platform so in real terms (i.e. money I have back in my hand) I am down around 30%.
I understood the risks so won't complain about that but the default rate is high and therefore for me the risk profile has tipped too far.
I hope my investments will get me back to break even. The default rate is around 32% and write off is 3.5% for my investments.
Until my original investment is paid back I don't plan to invest further in peer to peer,

I had a very positive experience raising funding for my business, Kozza UK, through Crowd2Fund. The process was clear and well-structured, and I successfully secured around £25,000 in funding.
Oliver was extremely supportive throughout the campaign setup. He guided me step by step, answered my questions promptly, and made the whole journey much smoother and more professional.
I would highly recommend Crowd2Fund to other business owners looking for alternative funding options.

My experience is totally different to anyone giving a good review. It is based on having an account with C2F over many years and not on an account that has just been opened. I have the experience to speak on the long term return on your money. They have a very high default rate. Currently, on their Smart Invest (not so smart) scheme I have 71 investments in companies in default - that is not good. They have a very high write off rate. They invest in companies I would never look at as being a good investment. They are not on the ball with debt chasing. Their warning at the top of the screen says 'Don't invest unless you are prepared to lose money.' My experience is that you will definitely lose money and I advise you to go somewhere else. I complained to the FSA and was fobbed off. Well guess who funds them. I feel it was not a proper investigation. They contacted C2F who told the FSA what their policies are. That was it. What C2F say they do and what they actually do to look after your money and to protect it and make wise investments is totally different. In my opinion, having done debt chasing for a large company, C2F do not adequate vet and approve the companies where your money is going. They simply accept almost anyone just to have a flow of investments for you. I looked into a number of these with research through Companies House, the directors social media. I found directors living in glamour overseas, on golf clubs, track days and yet they had left debt behind them with no thought for you or me. You have been warned. Invest at your peril. They say you may lose money. Take that as, you will lose money.

Nearly all the companies I backed have defaulted on their loans and the communication from Crowd2fund and pursuit of the directors of these companies is glacial.
Don't touch with a barge pole!

I started investing with Crowd2Fund back in 2016. Crowd2Fund was the first peer-to-peer lending platform to offer an Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA) wrapper in the UK, as they were early adopters and on top of the latest regulatory changes. As a great and innovative Fintech start-up in the peer-to-peer lending industry, they also launched an app for iOS and a secondary market ('the Exchange') where investors could buy/sell loans between themselves before maturity.
The COVID-19 pandemic and the economic environment that came afterwards severely affected the environment in which the business operates - more than understandably! Fortunately, Crowd2Fund survived. During most of 2020 and part of 2021, there were barely any new loans due to the economic environment. Also, the Exchange was closed in 2020 and after several delays in reopening post-pandemic, it was reopened in 2023 before it eventually closed again, probably being under review.
In 2022 a new board of directors was established and in 2025 a new CEO, Toby Wootton, was appointed with an emphasised focus on innovation and excellence. This is an indication that, despite its temporary downturn, promising better times are ahead for Crowd2Fund.
As an investor, one of the features that I have always greatly appreciated is that I can pick and choose to what businesses I would lend what amount of money. This allowed me, after doing some due diligence and research of my own, to potentially build a more diversified portfolio and avoid some specific businesses or industries if I deemed them inappropriate for my investment strategy.
I can also see the attractiveness of this model for borrowers, as not only they would get a loan from Crowd2Fund investors, but also have the opportunity to somehow engage with them and build brand awareness that could help them grow their businesses and boost their funding capacity in the future.
I hope Crowd2Fund keeps up the momentum and introduces innovative features in the near future. A big thank you to the C2F team.

This is a company in complete turmoil!! It has barely improved at all since the pandemic. Although it states it is improving there are only a tiny number of new loans and the utterly essential “secondary market” remains dead… despite my pleas to get it started again.
There is just glacial development while vast numbers of defaults and apparently minimal attempts to address these. There are no updates and some are over 3 years old.
This is not a P2P lender to get involved with. Stay well clear!!!

Crowd2Fund were incredibly supportive from the beginning. They understood what we wanted to achieve and helped us to get that across in our pitch to potential investors.
There were some slight miss communications towards the end of the trench but these were dealt with swiftly and everything was resolved to a high standard which we were very happy with. Would recommend - especially for smaller businesses that may have struggled to secure competitive funding in the past. This shouldn’t stop you growing your business and Crowd2Fund definitely helped us achieve our goals!

great platform, accessible with my assistive technology and helpfull support. they sent over a statement of transactions quickly when asked, given they aren't a bank I thought this would end up being a problem, but it was really easy to get a statement with all the info on like my address etc, which I needed to provide to another company who'd requested it for a source of funds check.

60% of my outstanding loans are in default. Repayments have dwindled to a trickle. No diversification on my initial loans invested through their auto-investment service, so very exposed when (many of them) failed. (was not made aware of this risk at the time (several years ago) although they have since made it clearer on their website).
I haven't added anything since my initial investment and am taking my money out whenever it's repaid, to transfer into another ISA. Still, it's looking like I've lost a big chunk of it, and my average APR is down to 2.6% which is less than inflation.
I'm just glad I didn't invest any more!

I have never used such an unprofessional company
You never get any reply’s to emails
The default rates are absolutely ridiculous and you loose more than you gain
If you question them about the defaults and how they are chasing them you get no reply
You are told that they are low risk or returning clients but then defaults which I can not see are chased up at all although the company says it does
Do not touch

Although we had a slower start, it quickly picked-up. We managed to reach our goals and went even beyond what was planned.
Thank you Toby, Oliver, Chelsea, David and Rasti for your support during our time working together.

Crowd2Fund has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. The platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and offers a refreshing alternative to traditional investment options. What stood out the most is the transparency in the entire process, from evaluating opportunities to tracking returns.
Their customer support is responsive and knowledgeable, always ready to assist with any queries. I also appreciate the range of businesses available to invest in, many of which align with my values and offer innovative growth potential.
The due diligence and vetting process gives me confidence that I’m investing in quality opportunities. Plus, the ability to manage everything digitally without hassle is a huge plus.
I highly recommend Crowd2Fund to both first-time investors and seasoned pros looking for a trusted, modern investment platform.
