Currys - Milton Keynes Avis 

Easy to purchase as we had looked online & knew what we wanted.

The purchase was no problem, but when I returned it unused in original packaging (admittedly with the open strips torn open which is how you open the box. As I approached the returns counter I could tell I was in for problems as the lady had a face on her hitting the floor clearly loving life at Curry’s. I was told in a sentence containing 5-6 words of one syllable accompanied by grunts and poke of the finger at the small print on the reverse of the receipt that I could not return my unused Starlink mini as the packaging was open and they could not resell it. I politely pointed out that I could not have known how large the starlink “mini” was prior to opening the box, and that I would like a return. She said “no return” in a pointed manner. Rather than give in to the anger brewing inside me (anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering etc..) I maintained my composure and asked that if she did not have the authority to process the return then please could she kindly find someone who did. She returned not less than 20 seconds later during which time it would have been impossible to gain said authority, said nothing, processed my return, handed me my receipt and said “there” or similar. I got the refund I was after but with a customer service experience that was frankly unacceptable. The literal single reason to purchase from curry’s is same day / stock vs online. I won’t be making that mistake again.

Overall, I was happy with my purchase, but I’m giving Currys 4 stars because I was misled into buying an additional cable for my new laptop. I was told I needed to purchase it separately, only to discover that the cable was already included in the box.

I found this disappointing and unnecessary. Staff should provide accurate information rather than encouraging customers to buy accessories they don't need.

Saif,was very knowledgeable about items we were interested in and very helpful. They didn't have the TV i want at Milton Keynes so he checked the other stores and found us one at Luton and arranged for us to pick it up there.

Brought a Kenwood food processor nice range. Picked it up added extra cover for breakage staff were helpful.

I recently moved back to the UK from the US and left a lot of my tech in the US. Needed a cheap, reasonable spec monitor for Zwift cycle training. Curry's had a decent spec item for a reasonable price, it was available for pickup within an hour or so. Pleased with the item and how easy the buying process was.

The experience I had of buying a computer at Curry's was excellent. It was made so by Sai, who served me. He had an excellent knowledge of the products he was selling. He had extremely good communication skills. He was friendly and business like.

Currys was helpful about me purchasing a new laptop.

I had two items getting delivered and I found out it was only one getting taken away went to the my local curry’s and the man helped me to take away the other one so helpful also the two delivery guys was very nice on time and they picked up all the rubbish and both of my old appliances and was done in no time very great service love curry’s and will shop there again soon thank u to all the staff from selling —delivery x

The chaps called me to let me know roughly
when they would arrive.
On arrival they were careful bringing in appliance and spent time adjusting the machine to make it stable.

I had a large screen tv delivered . The delivery couldn’t have gone better . Two man delivery .,They set the tv up , showed me how to work it and were generous with their time . Patient and removed all packaging .

Raj was a fantastic help in getting me sorted with the right laptop, plus the software and security needed. I would highly recommend Currys at Milton Keynes.

I wanted to buy a HDD chose the one i wanted went to the desk to collect and pay there were no staff at the tills none. When I complained one appeared from a set oc desks from where they were watching arrive at the tills but only appeared when I started to cause an incident. I gave the lady the empty box she then proceeded to tell me there were no stock of this item even though i had picked it up from their shelf. So not only do they not staff the tills their shelves have items on them that they do nit have in stock.
