Genuinely a horrific experience, attempted to call my local store where I could only find a customer service number after waiting 40 minutes got through to someone who said they can’t give me any store number even tho it says on their website to speak to them directly should you need a store number then I got hung up on. Disgraceful customer service.

Had to wait for an Assistant, but when he came he was very helpful and knowledgeable, explaining which TV had a better picture or sound, leaving us to make our best choice. He was a very friendly person.

The female staff member at the pick up point was extremely helpful friendly and remarkably cheerful for 1730 on a Monday evening cheered up my day and made the collection of my purchases very easy thank you 😊

I consulted Gemini about specs for a dehumidifier to meet my builder’s recommendations. It gave me helpful advice, and when I said Curry’s in the Botley Road was most convenient for me, provided me with an ordering link. It was reported as ready for collection within the hour, and when I went to pick it up the salesman offered to carry it to my car. Very straightforward. Now it’s running, after I followed guidance from the manual supplied and Gemini again.

Ordering at Curry’s was easy enough. I got seen quickly and was dealt with efficiently. I paid for installation and recycling of my two old machines and that was all done effectively with no fuss.

The order was delivered to my local store in reasonable time but the person who served me for the pickup was anything but pleasant. He took a long time without saying anything and served another customer who was returning a TV for recycling while 'serving' me. He was impolite, there was no thank you. I hope not to experience him again in store, that is if I use the store again!

Good product and nothing special on the price. Waited quite a while for assistance whilst staff just walked past me.

We were sold a lap top that was labelled as £250 off the list price. No box, no instruction manual. We were conned into buying lots of software we didn’t need. When we got home, the lap top didn’t have a cursor and so we couldn’t use it. We discovered that the price we had paid was the normal list price. Where did the £250 go?
We took the whole lot back two days later and a very helpful member of staff refunded our money. We were missold.

I was wondering if I could complain to you directly in regards to the store Store details. Oxford Unit 1 Botley Road Retail Park Oxford, OX2 0HY

This is in regards to an incident in front of my child in the store who was patiently waiting for a Pokemon 30th anniversary product which was delivered to the store and this has happened multiple times now

When the Pokemon stock arrived, we asked the counter and the kind staff member went to get it to sell to us as it was his birthday and he wanted it as a product, this was yesterday.

When the staff member returned, 6 staff members also arrived with them and a box of Pokemon products. They then advised staff have the right to buy the products first and the staff members then proceeded to buy everything, leaving nothing for my child, despite us being their first. Some bought 6 products each, this isn’t right.

I couldn’t believe what was happening, over a child’s card game these people were really just taking all the products. One staff member even said it’s valuable stock and they will sell it on eBay and make double!

I was gob smacked and they then advised they have more stock as it’s gone and to try on another re stock when it arrives

I was horrified, how could they do that to a child waiting by the door and just push ahead of him and buy the stock ?

I then find out the reason it’s difficult to get stock is because the store employers buy all the stock and it seems like they then sell it on eBay or another platform for a profit

Please can you do something about this ? It’s very difficult to get stock from the above store as staff buy it all to re sell. Children are being left disappointed and customers frustrated as staff push ahead and buy it.

They didn’t even apologise for taking all the stock in front of us and were even rude when I told them that they could have left one for a customer as they pushed ahead.

Is there anything you can do on regards to changes for employees buying all the Pokemon stock and re selling it ? This is for children to enjoy, not adults to make a profit on ? Can you ban the staff from buying Pokemon products ?
