Received food near the expiry date again…
Received food near the expiry date again. They should pay more attention in this, it is not the first time and I am very upset now.
Also the delivery driver left the parcel under the sun without even knocking the door. I saw the parcel when the delivery driver from Amazon knocked the door. Shame

I would not reccomend this store
Although they have a good selection of Italian food, they don't seem to check the expiry date of the items they deliver. As on other occasions even today I received several items that were out of date, so I would not advise to shop from them

Great selection of Italian food from this seller. I ordered about 52 packets of pasta and it was delivered quickly by DPD to Bournemouth. I checked every packet of pasta and none were out of date. The packaging was appropriate for my delivery. Will be ordering again once I've got through this load.

Too much plastic in the packaging
Unnecessary huge amount of plastic and cardboard in the packaging.
I ordered burrata and , despite the packaging, all the liquid came out during the transport. The outside of the buttata become dry and not edible.

Thank you for your review — and we’re sorry to hear that your order in 2021 didn’t arrive in the condition it should have. We understand how disappointing that must have been, especially with something as delicate as burrata.
Since then, we’ve made significant changes — both to protect our fresh items more effectively and to reduce waste. We now use 99% recycled paper across our packaging and have moved toward a more environmentally conscious approach overall.

Really lovely products
I discovered this company by accident a couple of months ago and I’ve had two orders from them now. The pasta sauces are amazing and the tomatoes and cheeses are gorgeous. They keep me updated on my order/delivery status and it always arrives very well packaged. I would highly recommend trying their products. I’m so glad I found them and I will be ordering more.

Great supplier of Italian food
Great supplier of Italian food. Prompt delivery and always well packed. Pasta is very reasonable priced but their selection of cooked sauces are pretty steep for what it is (500 grams of bolognese £13,49!). Food is delicious though and a large selection of products.

The parcel was damaged during the delivery process and they couldn't deliver. I asked them to redeliver the order with a different shipping company and offer myself to pay for delivery but they refused and found easier to just simply cancel the order. It's funny and sad the same time :)

Italy Delivered!
I got a little bit jealous of my Sicilian friend who's returned home for August, he keeps sending pictures of the fantastic coastline and amazing food and wine - not helping at all. I took it upon myself to order up a few bits from Delicatezza, to try and cure my itch to visit the Belpaese.
The whole buying experience was great, I struggled not to clear out my whole bank account so only dipped my toe in so to speak. Package turned up today via DPD, expertly packed and precisely when requested. Food is incredible and will definitely be ordering over & over!
