Never use this business
I made the grave mistake of referring Jim Glenn as a real-estate agent to a friend of mine, my friend was so disappointed in the experience they refused to further consider moving to our community. Not only was I disappointed but it is a great loss to our community as this entrepreneur would have created much needed employment for a wide variety of folks. Why is Jim Glenn working for a Centennial real-estate based business when he lives in Bailey?
I had the opportunity to “work” with Jim Glenn on the forum Next Door. Jim is a complete disgrace and rule breaker as a lead, he kept his lead position in another community he moved from which is a violation of Next-Door Policy, but Jim didn’t care. Jim also has a voting record of consistently breaking rules and policy but that is his nature which he personally exposed by his own actions. Not only this but Jim led proven racists to the next-door forum who had to be removed by my team. What is the saying about birds of a feather? Being a person of color myself, this is very troubling to me and most of the Hispanic leads quit because of Jim including myself.
As a real-estate agent Jim has some troubling skeletons in his closet. He is currently living in a “cabin” showing a value of $450,000, yet this property was “given” to him on a quit-claim deed for $10.00? Those of us investigating him found it necessary to forward all of this information to the IRS who also felt the need to follow up on this fact.
Now, was Jim evading taxes or did he use this property to get himself on the board of The Burland HOA? Funny, he also had his wife on that same board along with another member whose husband was on the board. This is/was a sharp violation of the board by-laws, but again Shameless Jim didn’t care. This is clearly shady and both spouses, Jim’s wife and the other members husband have since resigned when this was finally addressed by new, on coming board members. It still doesn’t account for Jim’s shifty actions. I personally filed a complaint with the State of Colorado which should be in the works as this review is being “penned”.
Jim tries to place himself in positions of what he feels gives him power, clearly, he has no idea what real power is. He is associated with the Chamber of Commerce, the historical society, the community library, he tries to run employment ads for the sheriff’s department, and the list goes on. I could sit here and list a day’s worth of what I have personally discovered about this man but here is the real issue:
Is Jim the type of person, possessing the type of character you seek in someone you would hire to represent you in the sale or purchase of your home? My thoughts would be NO, there must be some level of respectability, honesty and integrity in one who represents you on important matters such as these. Based on my personal experience, what I have seen and what I have discovered, my opinion is NONE of those qualities exist in this man. My strongest suggestion is that you run in the opposite direction when you see Scandalous Jim coming!
