Poor customer service
I recently purchased photographs after my son’s sports day at his prep school in Birmingham on Thursday. Unfortunately the poor customer service that I received completely spoiled what should have been a positive experience.
The lady serving at the front of the van was very rude, impatient and made me feel rushed, despite there only being two people behind me in the queue. She huffed and puffed throughout, despite the whole interaction being less than 5 minutes, spoke to me with an attitude and seemed reluctant to let me check some zoomed-in photos to make sure my son was actually in them before I purchased them. She also asked me which colour frame I wanted, making it seem as though it was included, only for me to discover that it was an optional extra, to which she gave me more attitude when I asked her to remove the frame from the order.
The staff at the back of the van who were retrieving the photographs were polite and helpful and the photos themselves were good. However, this lady’s poor customer service completely overshadowed the experience. I hope this feedback is taken on board for staff training, as no customer should be made to feel like they’re an inconvenience when purchasing photographs of their child.

DE Photo provides an optional photography service at sporting events. While admission to an event may be included within an entry fee, photographs are a separate optional purchase (like many other services such as food, drink etc.) and are never included as part of the event entry.
