DFS Stole my deposit
I went into the store to order furniture, I was told on delivery the item would be built in my home by the delivery men. They left the furniture and went I had to pay someone to build my furniture. They lied to me from the beginning. I changed my mind on the next lot of furniture I was meant to have delivered, so they kept my £500 deposit. They were made aware that I am disabled and couldn't build the furniture myself. They have lied and stolen my deposit. DFS Stockton. Don't leave these people any deposits.

Purchased Joules sofa from DFS
Purchased Joules sofa from DFS, within 2 years had numerous faults, parts falling off, frame and springs broken,
Countless engineers called to try to replace and fix. Buttons fell off the armchair nearly every month
DFS advised unable to help as out of 2 year warranty, appallingly customer service, avoid at all costs

In regards to the manufacturing warranties included with the order, its 2 years for issues such as Leathers, Fabrics, Inners, Stitching, Recliner mechanisms, Electrical components such as sound docks or refrigerators. As well as 15-years for the framework & springs.
This can be found in the T&C’s under section 13) ‘Our DFS guarantee’. – https://www.dfs.co.uk/content/terms-and-conditions

DFS sell very low quality furniture from China
DFS sell very low quality furniture, made in China...
I bought a ( supposedly ) high quality recliner leather chair, costing £1200 only for the seat to collapse and leave me sitting very uncomfortably for several months.
A year later after waiting nearly 4 months for a new piece of foam cushion to arrive from China, the chair is repaired. But, that's not the point!! I have suffered, been inconvenienced, and well and truly overcharged for a Chair that wasn't fit for purpose. DFS think its ok, because its now been repaired and they sent me a hamper!!! The original seat inside, (which was taken apart all over my lounge floor ) was held together in two parts with Masking tape, I kid you not!! But, DFS says that's ok, because its repaired now!! MY ADVISE, DO NOT BUY ANY FURNITURE FROM DFS - IT IS CHEAP RUBBISH FROM CHINA AND YOU WILL WAIT 12 WEEKS FOR IT AND THEN ANOTHER 12 WEEKS SHOULD IT NEED REPAIRING
