I used District Drain Solutions on the 6th of December 2022 to repair our blocked drain. It was a big job, they provided CCTV and everything was okay until now. We having again a blockage and I thought I give them a call again. Unfortunately the phone did not work so I checked the Webpage and got re-directed to a company with the name alldrainservices. Same address so I thought I give them call and just to make sure that they might only changed the name I asked if this is the former District Drain Solutions. The girl on the other end of the line was straight absolutely in defence mode and insisted they are a different company. When I said but its the same address, same layout of Webpage and I got directed to this new webpage after typing in the old company name she said, she has to speak to the manager. So I thought, great , maybe I can talk to the manager and asked for this favour and she hang up on me. So very suspicion!!!! Now the Webpage is taken down...even more suspicious. So be very careful!!!!!

They scammed us. 3.5 K that we couldn't afford. Terrible. Avoid avoid avoid

They promised to come back and clean up, didn't. They said they would provide cctv footage for my insurance claim, didn't. After they've been paid, it's impossible to get anyone on the phone that knows anything, like a scam company. Oh, and they charge well over the odds (preying on slightly desperate people).

Last August this company changed me £5850 to reline my sewer pipe between manholes they partially did the job and made a terrible mess of it they left the centre section and promised to come back and replace this section. They promised many times to complete the work but never did so.One year later I have given up hope of the work ever getting done.Please do not use this company or you may finish up in the same boat as me.Malcolm

The engineer spent one hour clearing an outside waist pipe and said he had to use his CCTV camera to investigate the blockage. He used it for 2 minutes and charged an extra £125 pounds to use it. Total bill for an hours job £340!! I’ll let you make your own decision on that one 🤦‍♂️

So after my first review I called another drainage survey company. As their attitude was more than terrible. Well, they checked everything and there is no need for a repair for £2500

New Pipework and a soakaway for rainwater from the roof was required as the old system had failed and was blocked. I was fairly happy with the work carried out but have been left with a large yellow hippo bag full of excess clay, earth and broken pipes in the middle of my front path. On completion Will told me it would be collected in a few days and he would send me the 15 year guarantee of the work. It is now almost 3 weeks and neither has happened. On phoning dds after a week a lady told me it would be collected shortly. When this didn’t happen I phoned the no. on the bag and was told they had no request for its collection. I have subsequently had an apology from dds but they have still not arranged for collection. I have been told by hippo it can be collected if I pay over £200! Having paid an extortionate amount for the work carried out I am extremely upset and would never recommend them

Not possible to give a - score unfortunately. DDS unblocked and 'fixed' my drains in February, said I had a 10 yr guarantee, they would come back anytime needed. April drains are blocked again and DDS don't come out. SWWater unblock and it is obvious not all work was completed in February. DDS say they will send engineers, they have been saying every day for a week now. I can't stay in and wait for them for ever. They aren't coming. Waste of time and money.

We are a small primary school who called out District Drains to unblock drains in December 2022; it was the last day of term and we had little option. They arranged for further remedial work to be done to the pipes in the school holidays which cost over £6000. We had further drains blocked in March 2023 and I called them again as I was unsure if it involved the original drains. The engineer came out and unblocked the drain and did a camera survey. This cost us £560 initially and he then quoted me over £2200 for more remedial works to be done. At this point I began to became suspicious of their work and asked for the camera footage to be sent to me so I could gain a few more quotes (schools have to legally do this). This was over 6 weeks ago and I have received no footage. I have emailed and called many times when I am told that the engineer who came out has the footage and was away on holiday. I have been promised the footage on several dates, all of which have come and gone. The last one was yesterday 17 April and still nothing. We are a small school with a limited budget. I wonder if the managing director or similar would be able to look into this appalling service and rectify the situation for me.

We had a blocked kitchen sink pipe. I had tried all the usual things using a plunger and drain unblocker to no avail. I found District Drain Solutions on web and entered the details of the blocked sink pipe in their email space and my address and 'phone details (very easy to use). Within less than ten minutes I had a call from them and a very reasonable quote to fix the blockage ( and as they eventually took only a short time to fix ( less than a half hour) I was charged a lot less than the quote!
A very professional organization with some very impressive equipment. They were prompt in arriving. ( Phoning up 30 minutes before to confirm the visit.)
A really brilliant service and I would recommend them.

Beware!! The sort of company you see on Watchdog imo! Absolutely gutted & don't know how people get away with this. Was told on phone £49.50 + VAT & £59.50 + VAT to use equipment. But given form which was not left with me at outset, which said 2nd man was also £49.50 per half hour!!! I didn't ask for a 2nd man to attend, don't know what he did, & a 2nd man charge is not what I expected or was told!! They were here 2 hours but I don't think that was necessary; blockage was not bad & I think I've been conned out of nearly £763 and I am absolutely gutted. DO NOT use!!!

They came. They charged money. They achieved nothing. They came back 5 minutes after they left to ask when I would pay by bank transfer and mentioned bailiffs if I delayed. Appear to be con men.

Waited in for 2 days then they came unblocked drain cctv added a extra man charge to the bill won't give me cctv footage of drains I've paid for. Do not use holsworthy branch .. scammers and conn artists.. sent quote next day of 10k ..but can't send what I've paid for.. 580 for a blocked drain.. do not use this firm of con merchants..

Would be 0 stars if there was an option. Avoid at all costs. Didn't turn up on 2 occasions before finally arriving. We paid them for a full cctv survey which would include a site plan and full cctv plus a report. They failed to send anything over in the time frame and still have yet to send any report or offer a refund. Sent multiple emails asking for the reports and they just ignore. On site they barely did anything and tried saying the drains needed jetting at a large fee. Ended up using a proper company who did all that was needed and sent on their professional report. Read the reviews before using them, i wish i had.

Please avoid this company if you can. They came out to fix a blocked kitchen sink on 17 Dec 2022.
I had already tried a plunger and checked the u bend under the sink. I didn’t see what they did outside but they appeared to remove some debris from the drain there. They sink appeared to be flowing freely so I paid the £125 fee and they left. All in all under 20 minutes work,
The drain cleared more slowly over the next few days and was totally blocked again by Christmas Eve. We left a message on their office number but didn’t receive a reply even after the holidays were finished. We rang again and were told they had been having problems with their systems but someone would be out between 09.00 and 12.00 on New Year’s Eve. Waited in and no one arrived plus no contact from the company to say there was a problem. Called their office again on 3 Jan and was given another time slot. Again no one arrived. Eventually the engineer who had attended on the 17 Dec called to say that he had no intention of coming back because we had a bend in the pipe outside which required a plumber to fix it. Strange that this had never been mentioned before at any point and he was obviously trying to feed us a load of flimflam to brush us off.
All was sorted when a friend came round and cleared it. A relatively simple job and NO bent pipe. I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone else

These guy are a hidden gem ! Mike and jack friendly , excellent knowledge, cared for our property. Was here for a blocked toilet less than 20mins all sorted . Highly recommend

Had district drain solutions come to my property for sewage pipe. Firstly they changed an extra £80 on top of the phone quote and 2nd they told me I needed all the pipe replaced and showed me root growth and cracks in the pipe with the camera. They gave me an estimate of £2500+ and said they could start the same day. I then got a 2nd opinion. My home insurance (home serve) came and inspected the pipe and showed me the pipe and there wasn’t any growth and also the pipe was different than the one district drain solutions showed me! I would be very cautious when dealing with them! If I had the money I would have just gone ahead with it since I was really worried about the pipe collapsing! so glad I got a 2nd opinion will be taking this to trading standards also! Praying on people is not ok! especially with the world as it is!

u can spot immediately when someone is good or not.
having a conversation with one of them, the guy said I'm tired and I want to change the job... so why are you working with the money from my pocket and not delivering any good work...

Prior to moving into our new home, the home survey picked-up that somebody had poured cement down one of the drainage man-holes. All that was required was for the cement to be chipped out and removed. Instead the previous owners daughter called in District Drain Solutions, they stated that the blockage had been caused by "displaced joints, cracks and fractures" and recommended the fitting of a CIPP liner, with 6 metres costing £3,168!!!!

Within four weeks of the house being occupied (the previous old man had gone into a home some nine months before). The drainage system was blocked and the man-hole half full of sewage.

No problem all work comes with a 15-year guarantee, on calling the company, they sent out one of their contractors the following day who put a camera up the lined pipe to confirm that their lining had failed. Their solution was that the drive would have to be dug-up and a new pipe installed, but this would require use of a digger. They would be in touch...

Five days later, nobody has been back with a plan. I have cleared the sewage myself and have removed the failed CIPP liner. I have also washed & brushed through the drains and now all is good.

Points to learn:
1) The District Drain Solutions guarantee is worthless. As soon as they discovered that they weren't going to be able to charge us even more money they disappeared.
2) Their recommendation of a CIPP liner was completely unnecessary and was just an excuse to charge an exorbitant fee.
3) When having drive work done - make sure that the contractors do not wash their cement mixer out and empty the contents down the sewer man-hole!

I hope this sorry tale prevents others from falling into the same problems...

So Lloyd and jack from District drains solution came out to us today.
We had a blocked wash away drain going to the ditch.
Out came the poles and the cameras and before we knew, it was verified the pipe was well and truly blocked.
Lloyd and Jack were at treat to have around. very polite and tidy (big points for that).
They explained what the problem was how the could repair, you have to like straight forward workers no messing straight on the job.
We would recommend district drainage solutions in a heartbeat.
