Dobbies Garden Centres - Braehead Avis 441

We ate in the restaurant at Dobbies Braehead. My husband asked for salad but was told none available but there were bowls with tomato, cucumber etc sitting out. We then asked for soup which is served with a baguette as we did not want the baguettes due to dietry requirements we we’re still charged £5.65 each for two very small bowls of soup, disappointing lunch

I found the plants I had come in for, they were in very good condition and are now thriving in my garden.

Both booked in for a luxury afternoon tea, Dobbies at Braehead.
Arrived and escorted to a cordoned off area kept for booking reservations.
The table was already set for us as booked and paid in advance for the luxury afternoon tea £20 each.
The 3 tier cake stand arrived with a selection of items, sandwich triangles
Plain and fruit scones with pot of jam and clotted cream, on top level was a selection of treats small macaroons and other treats for your sugar rush.
Tea served in teapots along with little milk jugs. Part of the luxury upgrade was the sausage roll and slice of
quiche,£4 extra each, sadly the sausage rolls and quiche direct from fridge, ice cold, inedible, had to find staff to ask for more tea,tea arrived quickly, milk for tea came in paper cups not milk jugs, no luxury there, no hospitality check to see if food
was OK, nobody came near. Would have made a huge difference to have sausage roll/quiche hot.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that recommended some plants that I hadn't considered. The quality of the plants was amazing. With the stock organised well.

Our whole shopping experience was made all the more enjoyable by the helpful and pleasant staff, as well as a nice cup of coffee and a cake in the restaurant.

Love going to Dobbies in Braehead for all my garden needs and all the other wee treats that are available. Christmas is my favourite!!!

I've already given my opinion on this visit however remember it well.
Food was very poor & not exactly fresh or cheap. Not enough staff as we had to clear the table before sitting down.

My first visit in a long time. Stopped by to use the free coffees and cakes from my Dobbies reward card ( signed up and forgot to cancel 😑).
The store has a great, relaxed feel. The staff were lovely and it was nice to browse the wide selection of goods on sale. The cafe and the Waitrose shop are added bonuses. I look forward to many more visits.

Was a great experience good choice of plants and bulbs

Love looking at everything in the store and especially the good sales. However we go for breakfast occasionally and honestly the food isn’t hot enough and then if you want a cappuccino that takes even longer to make.

Good offers, lovely Christmassy feel about Dobbies at Braehead.
Staff member at cafe not very friendly as wrong coffee was made and she seemed a bit annoyed when I said it was wrong. Coffee bit bitter on this occasion.

Always a pleasure to browse a Dobbies store. Particularly like being able to take my dog in . She enjoyed it too - and the biscuit provided by the friendly lady at the till!
