Dobbies Garden Centres - Braehead Avis 441

Got exactly what I was looking for. Everyone I spoke to (particularly Alan) went out of his way to be helpful. It must have been frustrating for him but he didn’t show it. He was calm and knowledgeable and produced what I was looking for. Thank you so much. Many thanks to the young girl who helped me in the first place before Alan took over.

We had Afternoon Tea, which was great and good value. The staff were very helpful

Plants etc were good quality but it was the staff who were excellent. Hi viz Davie in the gardening section is a gem. Full of helpfulness. Man on the till was also helpful organising loyalty card etc
Full marks.

Staff were extremely helpful in getting me price of my purchase as I couldn’t see the price anywhere

Lots of variety of produce within the centre, particularly the more unusual gifts for my home, garden or gifts for family and friends.

The food hall is wonderful, as yet, I have not managed to visit the restaurant, but plan to do that shortly.

The garden centre is incredible, well stocked, massive variety of plants, equipment, pots, greenhouses etc, etc...it has everything you need for the garden. The staff are second to none and more than happy to help with any enquiry, for the novice gardener, a great place to start.

I love everything about the centre but in particular, I love the xmas display and variety on display for purchase, absolutely wonderful. Everyone should visit the centre, not only for xmas but year round, an enjoyable place to visit.

Dropped in on our way back from The Beatson Cancer Centre , for some much needed Xmas retail therapy & food ,
On entering the whole place absolutely STANK of cinnamon , most of what was on display looked as if it had been dragged out the back stores for yet another year , decided ( Foolishly) to have breakfast in the café , mini breakfast consisted of,
Lukewarm at best , murdered fried egg , hard potato scone, disgusting burnt but cold ? link sausage , laminated bacon & coagulated beans .
NOPE NOPE NOPE.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
Shame as it always used to be nice in all aspects ,

Delighted with purchase Dobbies had a great selection

Great "pensioners' offer" lunch - excellent value for a main course and cake.

Staff helpful and found what I was looking for.

Staff at this Dobbie's are always welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The store has lots of choice, always has what I am looking for and at a price I like.

I used the cafe and did not use my rewards voucher. I was not asked if I had one.
When I bought things at the main shop till I asked if I could use my restaurant voucher ( showing my receipt) and was told ( quite abruptly ) that it was a different system and that was not possible. Really???
I did not have time to return to the restaurant.
Very disappointing.
I have today, 6/10/22, had a response from Dobbie’s and they have credited the appropriate points to my account.

Visited the restaurant for lunch with my husband and mother. I was very disappointed with the selection of hot meals in offer. The steak pie and lasagna were dried up and the fish and chips, which we ordered two of, were tasteless and dry. I expected more from Dobbies, and I will certainly think twice before returning for a meal.

Had a nice coffee & scone but found it really annoying when the staff where cleaning the tables as they dragged chairs along the floor 😡😡😡
