I bought a shed and in less than a year water coming in phoned the garden centre who told me ! To get intouch with a and j sheds who sent two men out who said I will have to pay for it new bearer... Voir plus

Took grandchildren for drinks and also bought seeds for birds. Disappointing that no longer serve baby chinos as told might be too hot for children.
The supply of garden compost was very low and we were unable to purchase our usual one.

Brilliant Garden Centre with great selection of plants. Had everything I was looking for. Helpful staff and friendly check-out.

Food Store Butchery.
I was looking for boerewors ( South African Sausage) and searched around and found an excellent supply thanks to Paolo and his wife.
Also left shop with some picante Italian salsiccia
Well worth a visit for fresh meat and sausages.

Always a friendly welcome
Always a friendly welcome, nothing is too much trouble from loading soil bags to giving sound helpful advice. Really do enjoy my trips to browse the plants and get ideas. Glad I joined the Dobbies Club in Shinfield!

Enjoyed my visit to the garden centre…
Enjoyed my visit to the garden centre however, the only complaint I have is there were not many staff around that I could get advice from. Other than that I picked up some lovely specimens

Recent visit
I recently attended this garden centre and was extremely shocked at the content and quality of the products on sale. There were empty shelves and the garden centre was fenced off to half its normal size. There were hardly any plants on sale. This store is looking shabby and needing to have a major overall.
Is this garden centre about to close down !!!
It is very poor in comparison to other Dobbies garden centres that I have attended.

Great experience
A visit to Dobbies is always a great experience for Gardeners such as we are. I appreciate the choice of plants available, fabulous staff as well as the additional service of a great butcher.

Called in to your store in Reading for…breakfast and coffee
Called in to your store in Reading for a coffee. Big mistake. Four staff on and took a ridiculous amount of time to be served. Wasn’t even busy. Two couples in front having breakfasts but after seeing it wouldn't touch it. All kept warm on a hotplate and looked disgusting.
Staff miserable.
Sorry but usually go to Hare Hatch. What a difference always welcoming. Will stick with them in future.
Food always cooked fresh and looks appetising.
