I have left it a month to review the Doodlebone extendable dog lead as previous ones, bought from other retailers, have stopped working within a very short time. This lead seems to be very strong and the retraction is still working perfectly.

Great product!! Customer service was excellent!! I bought the wrong size and the changed as quickly as they could without any issues, problems or complaints.

After 12 months, my dogs collar came un-done with a yank from my dog.
I emailed Doodlebone with photos.
They have quickly replaced the collar. No receipt needed, and no bill to pay.
They mean it when they say 'life time guarantee'.

The website is so easy to navigate. The sizing guide is helpful - our dogs come in all shapes and sizes (just like their pawrents). The Doodlebone team were very responsive to an email query I had. I'm impressed with the speed in which my parcel was delivered. Fab service all round!

Shocking customer service by a lady called Jasmine Gerard.I contacted them via email to get a replacement harness as mine had ripped at the seams to be greeted with rudeness and being accused of sending incorrect photos.I’ve never had this issue before so maybe she was having a bad day.However that shouldn’t affect how customers are treated

We always aim to be helpful, fair and straightforward, so it’s disappointing to hear this wasn't your experience. Just to clarify on the lifetime guarantee — it covers replacements for faulty items on a like-for-like basis (same style, size and colour). Requests for a different size and colour aren’t covered under the guarantee, which is why the team would have explained this. We’re always happy to help find a solution, but we do need to keep things consistent and fair for all customers.

So pleased with this harness it’s bright, fits beautifully, washes lovely, no faults whatsoever. Madonna the dachshund has not escaped once she looks very proud of her beauty and seems chuffed to wear it. But she is a material girl !

Sizing disappointing
The design and materials of this collar are very nice, but the sizing is a major disappointment. My dog has a 30 cm neck. The size 3/4 is way too big (even on the tightest setting, it looks like a double collar), while the size 1/2 is way too tight (even on the loosest setting).
Because I had to take them out of the packaging to test the fit, I now can't return them. I’m left with two expensive collars I can't use. Beware of the sizing gap if your dog is between sizes.

Thanks for taking the time to share this — and we’re really sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had with sizing. We can completely understand how disappointing it is to end up with two collars that aren’t quite right.
We want to clarify that both the 1-2 and the 3–6 collar does adjust down to 30cm, which is the size needed. To reach this measurement, the adjuster does need to pass over the PU branding patch. This can make that section look a little bulkier, and we completely understand that this may not be visually ideal. However, from a fitting and safety point of view, the collar does reach the required size and can be worn securely.
We really appreciate this feedback and it is something we are looking into for future product development.
That's fine if they have already been tried on and we are happy for you to return the collars, you will just need the original packaging with the collars to be able to do so.
