I wouldn’t even give drivetime a one star but had to give something to write a review.. So here it goes I sat in the lobby for 2 hours with an appointment before anyone could get to me.. Then after all the promises they wanted me to put 4k down which I had but I by all means will not pay 304.62$ every two weeks!! That place is a rip off and I should had taken heave of all the bad reviews.. After being there for 6 hours we got no where and I walked out and told them no!! Plus the interest rate was more then I pay on my Tacoma that I’ve had for 4 years.. By far Toyota will be the best to go to for a vehicle.. This 6 hours was a waste of my time wished I’d listen!! So BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM DRIVETIME!!

Staff was very helpful
The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing
I went on the website. Was preapproved for a loan. Selected a car. Was asked to make an appointment. Made an appointment to come in in an hour. Drove to the dealership only to be told that their computer system was down and I couldn't test drive the car. I then asked why it let me make an appointment and why I couldn't test drive the car. You don't need a computer system to do a test drive...or even to just look at the car. I thought the salesperson was rude and her answers poor.

Customer Service was needless to say poor. Yes you may have great deals but the customer service has definitely made it to where I will never go back

Let me tell you — my experience at DriveTime was nothing short of excellent. I worked with Briana Gilyard, AGM, and she guided me through the entire process from beginning to end with the purchase of my Dodge Journey Crossroad. I arrived around 6 PM, a time when most dealerships are winding down, but Briana made it feel like I had the whole evening dedicated to me. By 8 PM — their closing time — I was driving away satisfied and stress-free.
Walking in, I’ll admit I was a little worried. There were about six other families in the dealership buying cars, and only Briana and the GM were on the floor working. But they handled that showroom like seasoned pros. No stress, no attitude, no cutting corners — just pure professionalism and hustle.
As a former Automobile Collections Supervisor, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the chaotic. These two? They impressed me. The level of organization, patience, and customer focus was top-tier.
If you’re looking for a dealership where you’ll be treated with respect, efficiency, and genuine care, I highly recommend DriveTime — and especially Briana Gilyard — for all your car-buying needs. They really get the job done!

My 15,000 car lasted 40 days!!
I purchased a $15,000.00, 2020 Chevy Trex at the end of May. I had the car for 40 days and it broke down. Completely broke down. I thought maybe I just needed a sensor, the shop said, I need a whole motor. An additional $10,000 - 12,000.00 cost. I only drove 4000 miles. I asked them to assist me with the warranty or help me into a different vehicle, and they refused. They would not help me at all. They essential said too bad, so sorry. Good luck. I had them pick the vehicle up. I do not care. I will not pay $15,000.00 for a car, that I drove 4000 miles and had for 40 days. There is no way this is legal, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Their lack of assistance and customer service in handling this issue as a business was ridiculous! I will never recommend them at all, ever, for anything!!! They are thieves and corrupt and they are scamming the public out of thousands of dollars. I sent my car back and it still had the dealer tag on it. Shame.
