We operate in Barrow in Furness & Morecambe across which we represent the franchises for Hyundai, Renault, Dacia & Vauxhall (Authorised Repairer) Our Morecambe operation is home to Renault, Hyundai & Dacia and offers full sales and aftersales facilities for these brands. Class IV & VII MOT facilities are also available. We are one of Renault’s longest serving UK dealers having first acquired the franchise in 1960. A redevelopment saw a spacious new showroom built for the extensive Hyundai range. A further redevelopment of the original showroom has provided an ultra-modern facility for Renault & Dacia incorporating Renault’s latest ‘Store Concept’. Our Barrow branch, based on Ironworks Road, displays a huge range of quality pre owned vehicles. Via our Morecambe branch we are also able to offer, on request without obligation, new Hyundai, Renault & Dacia products. In recent years we underwent a major redevelopment that has seen an increase in the size of our showroom & the addition of a 2 lane standalone MOT facility, which is equipped to cater for both class IV & VII vehicles. Our Barrow branch is a manufacturer authorised repairer for Vauxhall, Hyundai, Renault & Dacia which means that our factory trained technicians can care for all warranty, repair & service needs for these marques and has a daily supply of genuine manufacturer parts. We have a wealth of experience with pre-owned vehicles offering all makes & models, naturally though our largest selection is for the brands we represent. However we actively source vehicles from other quality marques to complement our overall selection. Myself and my daughter just brought two…

Myself and my daughter just bought two new cars. This is my sixth of them. All sold by salesman Jeff. He is great at his job. Good to deal with and attention to detail 10 out of 10. A real credit to DSG. To often people who put the extra effort in get over looked. My family wouldnt deal with anyone else.

Data Breach

Whilst I have been very satisfied with the service I received, along with helpful friendly staff. Unfortunately the online booking system operated by a third party has been hacked, people's details have been obtained, these include people's full name and DOB, telephone number, address and vehicle registration. I would strongly recommend people contact your dealer direct when booking in a vehicle. Since this came to light, I have had numerous calls that have been flagged up a a scam. It is not known if the information has been placed on the Dark Web. Hence why I have given the review a 1 star, it doesn't reflect on the staff in any way.

Hi Iceman, we are of course happy to hear that you are very satisfied with the service you received from our staff. We do of course understand the severity of the cyber-attack that has happened to one of Renault/Dacia's third-party providers and we appreciate the level of worry this can cause our mutually effected customer. I would however like to stress that this attack was not on DSG's systems and no data has been lost from DSG.

I do not recommend this dealership at…

I do not recommend this dealership at all. I ordered a car from them, living in Scotland myself so I could not inspect it in person before taking delivery of it. The photos showed all the good angles and made it look in perfect condition. Upon delivery i wasnt given sufficient time to fully inspect it due to the driver being in a rush and him coming early while I was busy on the phone. Upon inspection once he had left I discovered 3 small dents, chipped paint on the handle, the inside was most definitely not professionally cleaned prior to delivery as there were food bits in between seats, and stains on the seats as well as the roof lining and scratches in the leather bits on the front passenger door. Completely unprofessional to not include this in the listing and not to deep clean a car prior to selling it. I reached out and instead of doing the decent thing of offering to have it cleaned and repair the damage that was not disclosed I just got sent a copy of the contract.

Great experience of DSG Morecambe

The service and MOT of our car all went very well, including provision of a courtesy car. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with queries, work completed on time and comprehensive paperwork to confirm what work had been done and the car condition. Thank you DSG Morecambe!

DSG Barrow in Furness

Bought a car from them in late 2023 as always John Stoker went the extra mile to find me the best deal. Had a few teething problems but they were resolved In a very professional way with no cost to myself. If you want a car with great after sales service visit DSG first you won’t be disappointed 👍

Best customer service around!

Best customer service around. Wonderful people who really helped me out with a part when I was in a pinch. I have also bought 3 renault zoes through them for myself and my mum and they have been wonderful every time.

Disgraceful and disgusting customer service

I have never been so badly handled as a customer in all my life and I will never set foot in this place ever again, took my car in with a window which wouldn't open and after being quoted £548.19 then £668.19 and then £776.18 and ended up finally paying £884.67 for brake pads and a caliper fixed, even though when the car was returned the first time, not only did the one window still didn't work but also others now didn't work!!!!

In between all this, I had been admitted to the hosptial after having 2 heart attacks. I tried speaking to the people in charge and after asking how can it be that when the car was finished and returned that the initial problem was not only still there but other windows were now also not working, I was told that the part they fitted and tested when they left Barrow must have broken by the time it got to Dalton...just bad luck or coincidence.
The whole handling of this issue has been extremely bad and the customer service is atrocious, never ever will I go back or recommend this company to anyone and I would advise people to look for more local repair shops who are more honest and fair. DSG Ltd, you have let me down and should be disgusted with your behaviour!
