Bus was 20 minutes late and the journey to Dublin took 4 hours. No air conditioning on board was sitting in last two sets on bus and temperature was 30degrees couldn’t open any of the windows in roof.... Voir plus

Coach was about an hour late arriving in Kilkenny. No apology or explanation given. Seats were cramped and a big crack in the upstairs windscreen. Might go JJ Kavanagh next time.

Bus didn't arrive at time. Passenger didn't get any message about cancelled or delayed bus. Customer service didn't answer the phone for about an hour. Disgraceful

If I could give minus five stars it would be more appropriate.
By far the worst bus operator I have ever experienced and I lived in Mozambique for a year using the bus services.
They never arrive on time, if they even show up at all! Or they break down, just like today, April Fool’s Day funny enough.
Sat on the bus for about 40minutes of attempted starts before being transferred to yet another stinking junk shuttle.
People crammed in, standing in the aisle which I’m sure is not covered under their insurance (if they even have that)
Avoid this service like the plague.
They shouldn’t be allowed on the road
Disaster of a company, buses driving past customers at bus stops , time tables online that are outdated and not the correct times etc. And then customer service doesn't answer phone calls x10 times from 12.30 to 1.20pm
If I could give this company zero I would. On the way to the airport the bus driver left a person on that had clearly soiled herself and this was 2am in the morning, all the people at the front of the bus moved to the back the smell was so bad. The smell of pee coming from the back was worse and to top it off 4 drunk people were passed out with empty cans and food thrown everywhere and they stunk as well. Can believe this is happening in this era, I travel all over Asia and never seen anything like this before.
On the way down from Dublin airport the bus was one and a half hours late at the red cow as they literally did not even bother putting one bus on the hour before, honestly the incompetence and serious lack of organisation makes me wonder how this company survives. I will only use flightlink from now on from Killarney as it avoids Limerick city and the busses don't stink of pee, times don't quite match up but at least your not standing in the cold for two hours waiting for a bus that will never come, literally a complete joke of a set up.
I bought the ticket from Kilkenny to Dublin city centre, the bus arrived with a 50 minutes delay (I had been told that they were usually 20-25 minutes late). I even asked the driver for some information about the stops and he was very rude. I highly suggest to take the train instead since I had no troubles getting to Kilkenny from Dublin by train.

Only if there was a 0 rating on this. I had a very disappointing experience with this bus. One evening on 12/03/25 at exactly 6:05pm, their machine failed to scan my valid weekly ticket, forcing me to pay extra for my journey. However, the same ticket worked perfectly fine for all other trips that week including earlier that day at 6:35am.
When I contacted their customer service for a refund, they took an unreasonably long time to respond to my email (They responded on 25/03/25 at 9:55am). Worse still, they avoided my calls entirely for some reason when I tried to explain the issue—until I called from a private number, at which point they finally answered talked to a staff referred to himself as Josh but refused a refund stating that the Leap-card number on their website is different from what I use.
I have been using same Leap-card since 12/08/24 to purchase their weekly tickets (Every week) as I work in Limerick and use these buses every single day to and from Limerick for work, but no issue ever happened (Except on this day at 6:05pm). This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable from a public transport provider.
If a company is happy to take extra money due to their own system failures, then refuses to engage properly with customers, it speaks volumes about their lack of professionalism.
Be warned: if something goes wrong, don’t expect an easy resolution from this company.
Terrible company one of there coach drivers crashed into me on wrong side of road and attempted to leave before emergency services arrived, even threatened to crash into me a second time while I was on foot.
I recommend to contact the RSA (Road Safety Authority) HSA (Health and Safety Authority) and the Minister of Transport Ireland maybe even your legal representative.
When I ring the phone multiple times and different days the phone lines are not answered it will ring for around 1minute 30 seconds and hang up I never got through once on phoneline staff that reply to emails don't like giving there names as they know the frustration they put most of the customers through I was nearly killed along with my passenger over an incompetent bus driver while driving in my own car nearly killed by the coach that came onto my side of the road and struck my vechicle causing severe damage.
A named employee called Wes Gill introduced himself as part of Accident and investigation team at dublin coach through email asked for details and as soon as he got them he started stonewalling tactics in an attempt to get away from responsibility and deflect from the serious situation, he is not as smart as he looks when push comes to shove. Wes was at the scene of the collision after the fact and I have him on video looking shell shocked gathering information late and removing witnesses off the bus and boarding them onto another bus before emergency services arrived. Removing witnesses from the scene, they are not to be trusted beware 03/02/23
Bus never came. Busses consistently late and if you have to take bus to airport, you are almost guaranteed to miss your flight.
I have been using public transport in Kildare for many years now, and still remains in absolute shambles. Here’s why:
1. I’ve to get the bus 2/3 hours earlier just to arrive to my destination on time. For example I was due in work for 2pm I had to get the 11am bus, NO JOKE, (note that my work is a 9min drive, and cannot walk it) as they are so completely and utterly unreliable. If I had gotten a later bus 9/10 times the bus will be late or delayed up to an hour easily.
2. A few nights ago I waited on the 9pm bus back home from work, while my phone was nearly dead, the bus never showed up, and completely disappeared from the google maps bus stop schedule. Waited another ten minutes and no show, the next bus wasn’t until an HOUR later. And yet they will still charge you and take your money, whether the bus is there or not.
3. As someone who is in Dublin City for majority of the week the bus system in Kildare is atrocious. In Dublin you can rely on the buses, as they are there every 10 or less minutes and actually show up, and do not need to get a much earlier bus just to be on time.
A note to people who wish to use Dublin Coach: if you have to, make sure to get a much earlier bus so you don’t miss important events, and when I mean earlier I mean like atleast 2 hours earlier!!! Yeah its that bad.. and don’t expect anything from the service. Also if you can, just don’t use it, get a train or taxi , do not waste your time.
A note to Dublin Coach Kildare buses : your system is completely broken and disgraceful service, take a note from Dublin bus systems.
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Dublin Coach that I feel compelled to share.
I missed an important interview because my bus was over 45 minutes late. To make matters worse, the driver seemed to take extra time for personal activities, which contributed to the delay. I reached out to Dublin Coach for assistance regarding this issue but, unfortunately, I have not yet received a response.
I also contacted Transport for Ireland (TFI) for support, only to be informed that they do not have oversight over Dublin Coach services, even though the TFI logo is prominently displayed on the buses.
Public transport in Ireland has been increasingly challenging, and I know I am not alone in this frustration. I have heard from others who have faced significant delays as well, including one individual who missed their flight as a result. This has led me to consider purchasing a second car for more reliable transportation.
I sincerely hope that Dublin Coach and other transport providers take note of these issues and work towards improving their services. Effective public transport is essential, and it’s disappointing to see such consistent problems.
I plan to share my experience further through local newspapers in hopes of raising awareness about these ongoing transport challenges.
Overall, my experience with Dublin Coach has been far from satisfactory, and I urge potential passengers to be aware of these issues before relying on their services.
There’s a reason this service doesn’t have a google profile. It would be flooded with 1 star reviews. Bus is 35 minutes late. When I get on I say I’m dissatisfied with their service and my housemate used them and the bus didn’t come twice before. I ask for a discount and received hostility and told in arguing with them, I’m not. I’m staying a fact and it’s an airport service and they are late with no way to track their awful service
I am writing to express my utter dissatisfaction with my recent experience using Dublin Coach Line 300. As a tourist traveling through Europe, I can confidently say this was the worst transportation experience I have ever encountered. The level of communication, or lack thereof, was appalling.
From inconsistent and inaccurate schedule information to complete disregard for passenger inquiries, Dublin Coach demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism. The complete absence of clear signage and the inability of staff to provide helpful directions compounded the problem. It felt like a chaotic free-for-all, leaving passengers confused and frustrated.
The sheer incompetence displayed by this company is unacceptable. It tarnished my impression of Dublin and Irish transportation as a whole. In my opinion, Dublin Coach should be removed from operation in Ireland. They are a disservice to both tourists and locals.
I strongly advise any traveler to avoid Dublin Coach Line 300, and potentially all of their services, at all costs. Seek alternative transportation to prevent a similar, deeply unpleasant experience.
Subject: Unacceptable and Unreliable Service - Bus Route 300
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the consistently appalling service provided by bus route 300. Over the past 17 trips, I have experienced unacceptable delays on 11 occasions. This level of unreliability is simply inexcusable and demonstrates a complete disregard for passengers' time and schedules.
Furthermore, on three occasions, the bus was only "on time" due to the preceding bus running significantly late. This does not constitute reliable service; it is merely a fortuitous byproduct of systemic incompetence. This highlights a clear lack of consistent scheduling and operational management.
The constant lateness of the 300 route causes significant disruption to my daily life, leading to missed appointments, late arrivals at work, and general anxiety. This service is not fit for purpose and requires immediate and drastic improvement. Passengers deserve a reliable and punctual service, and the 300 route is failing miserably to deliver. I demand a thorough investigation into the causes of these delays and swift implementation of effective solutions.
Line 726 is possibly the worst bus line that exists: old buses that are falling apart. The bus never arrives on time, always at least 25 minutes late.

on Wednesday (20.02) I had a booking at 23:15 Dublin to Kildare, the bus only left Dublin at 23:45 so 30 minutes late.
Thursday (21.02) I also have a booking at 23:15 Dublin to Kildare, the bus left Dublin at 23:30(late), at Red Cow the driver asked everyone who going to Kildare to wait for the next bus, It doesn't make sense to wait for the 23:45 bus if I booked the 23:15 bus.
we are leaving Red cow at 00:23, the time I should already be in Kildare.
This company provides a terrible service, has no respect for customers.

I’ve NEVER had a smooth ride with this coach. More often than not the bus is over 1 hour late. On two occasions the bus broke down, and nobody has ever EVER apologized, acknowledged or even bothered trying to explain why this service is so terrible. All I get from customer care is ‘technical issue’.
We need more rail services!!!!!!! Aaargh!
I recently had a terrible experience with this bus service from Dublin Airport to Limerick. The bus scheduled for 13:30 was over an hour late( and didn’t even show up in the end) leaving me and others standing out in the freezing cold. I had no choice but to find a different bus home.
The bus itself was dirty and in desperate need of maintenance( I know this as the bus was parked at the stop just no driver to be seen) . To make matters worse, customer service is nonexistent. They never answer the phone, and when they do respond to emails, it’s often rude and unhelpful. I really can't understand how they have a license to operate. I strongly advise against using this awful service.
Save your time and energy DON’T USE THIS SERVICE EVER !!!!! VERY VERY UNRELIABLE

Extremely unreliable service. Was booked on a bus, watched the same bus completely bypass my stop on the app (the app seems to be the only functioning part of this company), not coming into the city at all. Had to get a taxi as I didn't know if there was room on the next bus for us, if it showed up at all, will not be reimbursed for this. Horrendous customer service also, they rarely answer the phone or respond to emails. You've a better chance of a unicorn turning up at the bus stop than a Dublin Coach bus.
I used to use this service for many years and this company used to provide a great service. This unfortunately changed in the past few years for some reason and they now seem intent on providing the worlds most unreliable service.
