Excellent service. We had to query an issue with an item, and within 48hrs had a no-quibble replacement. Where does one get customer service like this nowadays? I would happily make purchases from here again and recommend highly. Thank you for an excellent experience that went above-and-beyond.

Sub-standard products not as advertised
The quality of both products I bought from Dyke and Dean was incredibly disappointing. The products I received are not those advertised on the website and are sub-standard. The soap dispenser bracket is not made of solid brass, even though it is advertised as such and there is no engraved brand name on the bracket, as pictured on the website. The wall hook is also not brass but just plastic in some sort of metal effect coating. I though that they would finish off our bathroom really well, but we will have to look elsewhere for proper quality products. Such a shame.

We always appreciate constructive criticism and we are sorry to hear you are not happy with the products you ordered from us. The soap pump holder is stated as solid stainless steel soap pump bracket, finished in anodised satin brass in the description. The hook is stated as made from powder-coated steel in the description.
Also in the product description it states - 'Please note, some images may include our Dyke & Dean logo as a watermark which does not appear on the product itself', this is why the logo is not engraved on the product itself.
We are always happy to sort out any problems if you contact us directly and offer returns if you are not completely satisfied.

My order took a long time coming
My order took a long time coming. Despite the order being ready for dispatch within 24 hours I had to contact Dyke and Dean by email 14 days later to tell them that my order was still not in transit.
On a positive note, after I sent the message my order arrived 2 days later. It would, however, been courteous for them to actually contact me to apologise for the delay.
I cannot fault the quality of the goods sent. I ordered a range of products including a ceiling rose, kitchen knife, tea towel and candles, all of which I am very pleased with.
The 3 star review is because their is room for improvement in customer service. I would hope that this is not a regular occurrence and would order from Dyke and Dean again as I love their products.

Outstanding
The service Dyke & Dean provide can be described in one word - outstanding. I searched online stores globally, as far as search engines can reach, and D&D were the only store who had this particular item in stock. Ordering on their website was as easy as 1-2-3, they shipped promptly and kept me informed of the progress. I’m glad they used a lot of padding because the outer box took some serious beating, but the lantern inside was intact. In other words, an example of what modern-day remote shopping experience should feel like.

The product was delivered promptly. It was excellent quality and good VfM, but unfortunately too big for my bathroom. I therefore returned it. They refunded me immediately and their customer service was excellent.

TERRIBLE, NON EXISTENT AFTER CARE!
Received initial email, thanking for order.
Had no communication for <4 weeks, I called left a message - no response, called again to be told order was waiting for one item, which may be another 2 - 3 weeks!!!
Final item then required further chasing.
Would I use again - NEVER!!!
Terrible, non existent after care service.

We would like to make it clear that we have repeatedly tried to resolve the situation for the customer. The item ordered was one which is made to order and therefore has a production lead time. We did everything possible to make the customer aware of this ( and it is mentioned in the product descriptions ).
No item on this order was delivered later than quoted at the time the order was placed, we feel that this review is not accurate.

Black Swan Neck Outdoor Lighting.
Purchased 3 lovely Swan neck outdoor light fittings and the came within a few days.
They’re pretty unusual for this style of light as they can be easily converted to fit standard 20mm conduit.
The staff are very friendly and helped me with much needed advice before I made my order.
All in all a great experience and a lovely website.
