Dyno-Rod - Hertfordshire Avis 

With Dyno-Rod, it seems to be a bit hit-and-miss. In the past, I had an extremely poor experience with their service. However, I recently had to call them out for a blocked drain, and I was pleasantly surprised. The engineer who came was very friendly, quickly fixed the issue, and made sure everything was draining properly before leaving.

More recently, I had another problem when my toilet flush stopped working. The engineer who attended, Zack, was also professional and friendly. He diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time and made sure everything was working properly before he left.

Based on these two recent experiences, the service has been excellent, and both engineers provided great customer care and efficient repairs.

Whether Dyno-Rod has improved its service or I was simply lucky enough to get two of the best engineers, only time will tell. For now, though, credit where it's due—I can't fault the service I received on these occasions.

Mike turned up and had the problem diagnosed in seconds when I told him that my shower outlet was blocked. He lifted the drain cover and then we got Thames water to clear a blocked sewer

Easy to book via telephone after hours. Follow up phone call in the morning to check we understood the priming’s and pricing. Engineer was very polite and curtious. Very efficient. Will definitely recommend.

Rainwater drain blockage. Initial visit identified problem and attempted to clear, but the pipe needed to be dug out so a second visit was booked. Pipe was dug out, cleared and repaired, and advice given. All very efficient, friendly and professional. Maybe not the cheapest, but I would definitely use them again.

I had a blocked outside kitchen drain, the engineer came and fixed the problem was very chatty and polite but sadly the problem wasn’t fixed because it pushed the problem to another drain. I phoned on a Monday morning to explain, an engineer was sent the same day and solved the problem straight away. The phone staff and engineers were all extremely polite and helpful, would definitely recommend and use again.

The service was fantastic from start to finish, excellent communication and Mick was very helpful, friendly, punctual and really did go above and beyond.

The engineer diagnostic and assessment meant he was able to fix the faulty unit with no delays or to leave the job incomplete. When asked to explain the faulty he was knowledgeable and able to explain root cause. Thanks Kai for your thoroughness and professional manner.

Had booked them in as a British Gas Homecare Customer to fix a minor problem. Whilst was fixed it resulted in adverse impact to hot water supply to showers and low pressure and volume of water in kitchen. Problems caused by their man and they've said they cant fix it for 10 days. They can't be bothered to hire people but it is ok for a family of 4 to be distressed and pay them on a monthly basis. Great customer service.

Very polite and efficient gentleman who unblocked the pipe and gave advice to sort another issue.

The drain specialist Mick was knowledgable and very skilled and arranged to sort problem when I was able to agree quote for works - nothing ever covered by the British Gas contract as such limited cover is misrepresentation - but Mick sorted problem within hours of me first contacting Dyno. Only good part about the British Gas contract today was that Dyno came out within a couple of hours. Unlike last experience with Dyno when took weeks for plumbing to locate a pipe leak. Mick was excellent and highly recommended.

My problem was a very difficult toilet wastewater pipes blockage. Toilet in the attic, so could not use normal jet flush. Mick from Dyno-Rod worked very hard in cramped, smelly conditions, to clear the blockage using manual tools and buckets. Cannot recommend Mick and Dyno highly enough. Fantastic service.

The office rang me to confirm the engineer arrival time, engineer later rang to say on his way.
Blockage quickly eased. The removal of the foreign object could require excavation

It all went smoothly. I had a very good response from the receptionist. She scheduled the appointment for the following day but actually managed to get tge technician out the same day !! The technician gave me a call and arrived promptly and under 5 minutes it was all done. A wonderful charming and very efficient technician !! I wouldn't go anywhere else for this kind of service. I highly recommend it.
