Dyno-Rod - Merseyside Avis 

Called out to blocked drain 2 months ago, charged )£120 for 5 mins work, had to call back as drain still blocked ( job under warranty ). Told to unblock drain would cost a further £295! This time found tree roots as put a camera down, not sure why first guy didn’t do that. Rang to complain, got nowhere. Awful service, not as advertised, and grossly overcharges. Apparently putting a camera down should have cost more.
Would not use again or recommend

Dyno rod came out a few times trying to resolve the issue with a blockage but it turned out to be a bigger job than expected and eventually after two weeks the problem is hopefully resolved. I cannot fault the men that came out, they were efficient, polite and worked extremely hard especially the guy who did the dig up. Personally I think it was a lot for one person but he just got on with it .

Yeah a couple of guys came out from dyno-rod to fix a leak in the soil pipe they were done n dusted in a few mins all good now thank you ..!

Ken and Harley came to fix 3 stubborn blockages in the drains. Full consultation done, blockages shifted and further issues identified - they showed me these on the camera & were able to advise on causes & treatments.

Knowledgable & able to advise on what actions are needed to fix the issues. Able to provide an estimate on how much the further work may cost.

They were both friendly, polite & respectful of my property & ensuring my pets didn’t escape. Highly recommend!

Just had Kenny and Harley out to clear a difficult outside drain blockage. Proved to be very tricky but they persevered and eventually found the problem and cleared it. Very polite guys, very experienced and even cleaned up outside afterwards. Thanks very much!

Called Dyno-Rod at 1pm on Sunday with a blocked toilet drain and was told someone would be out ASAP. About an hour later Kenneth called to check if 3:30pm was okay.

Kenneth arrived exactly when he said he would, was very friendly, and explained everything clearly. He found two blockages, one in the drains from the soil pipe which he cleared quickly, and another in the main drain which he couldn’t resolve.

After investigating with the camera and sonde he determined the second blockage was in the road rather than on our property. He showed me the equipment, explained how he’d reached that conclusion, and told me exactly what to say when contacting United Utilities.
Based on the information provided United Utilities agreed it was their responsibility and are now handling it.

Very happy with the service. Even though the issue couldn’t be fully fixed during the appointment there was nothing more he could have done and the handover to United Utilities was straightforward.

We had a bad drain blockage on New Years Day. Dyno-Rod were super efficient and arrived the next morning. After assessing the problem, extra equipment arrived . Callum and Kenny cleared the drains quickly. Great blokes, pleasant

I was expecting Dyno-Rod to be the most expensive quote. In fact they were the most reasonable. I needed a full drain re-lay of 40+ metres. I was impressed by Brian - he really knew his stuff and had local knowledge of the area which inspired confidence, and was my main reason for awarding the work. The staff were friendly, hard working, and persevered in the most miserable of December conditions. A fair amount of block paving needed to be dug up and this was replaced neatly as part of the job. Really pleased with the result.

Couldn't rate this company high enough. The two lads who came out to fix the blockage in our toilet were an absolute credit to the company. Professional and very helpful, offering a world of advice. Even kept us up to date with ETA. The two girls in the office, Jodie and sorry, I can't remember the other girls name, but they were really helpful with our booking. Very fast and efficient to come out and fix the problem..thankfully. We would definitely use again (but 🙏 we don't need to! 😆)

Called in the morning about a blocked underground drain and was visited in the afternoon. Operative phoned in advance of his arrival and was polite and friendly, explaining the charges in advance. He managed to remove some roots with a high pressure water jet which seems to have cleared the blockage. He also patched up an emergency access hole I had made in the soil pipe. Unfortunately his drain camera light was not working so the state of the drain post clearance could not be checked otherwise I would have given 5 stars. However I did receive a 90 day warranty so hopefully ok.

Just had Kenny out to fix my blockage outside. Literally took him a couple of minutes and everything was sorted, he explained how it happened. And how to.prevent it for the future,and.put.my mind at ease. his personality was lovely and very welcomed in a stressful situation. He is a credit and dyno rod are.lucky to have him thank you Kenny

I have had 5 different guys out over the last few weeks regarding a toilet/drain problem. All were polite/friendly/helpful. All telephoned to let me know when they would be arriving which was really helpful. The final fix to the problem was carried out this morning and all is now well in the flushing department. The greatest issue was lifting a stubborn manhole cover which had been insitu for over 30 years!!! Great girls in the office too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dynorod.

We needed a plumber as my sister had a leak in the kitchen and we called many plumbers in the Southport area but they were not interested as the job was not big enough for them, I called Dyno Rod at 8pm on 02/12/2025 and they were able to accommodate us for the following day. I actually arranged a booking for 04/12/2025 between 1 and 6pm which was more convenient, but they called me at 10am that morning to say they could come within the hour. They arrived and sorted it all out WHAT GREAT SERVICE would certainly recommend them

Came when they said they would and did the job quickly and efficiently. Showed me what the problem was and what was needed to correct it. Simple, straight forward with no bull.
