Biased and useless alibi institution…

Biased and useless alibi institution paid by online gambling companies. They answered a mediator request by stating they are not in a position to mediate because 4Poker.eu is allegedly not an "eCOGRA Approved Site." In my follow-up email I provided screenshot evidence indicating that 4Poker.eu claims to be approved and affiliated with eCOGRA’s standards. Never received an answer to that and the following complaint.

Ecogra - don't waste your time

Ecogra? Eebygum more like! This company is funded by the online gambling companies that you are complaining about so how can they be impartial? Don't bother complaining to them or any other regulatory body because they are quite frankly useless. There is only one way to get your money back if you've been treated unfairly and that is the small claims court. Take them to the small claims court and you are likely to get your money back as they won't bother sending a solicitor to try and defend the indefensible!

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING

Firstly, no option to leave a 0 star experience. I had the unfortunate experience to deal with this company in relation to a disputed winning bet with Bet365 who refused to pay out. Extensive evidence given to support my case, including undeniable TV footage which also supported my case. Took just shy of 3 months for a final decision and the only time I got an update from them was when I emailed looking for updates (not very professional) They eventually sided with Bet365 who gave little or no evidence to support their side. All they did was hide behind "inaccurately" reported stats from Opta and Press Association, moved the goal posts to suit them and constantly quoting "terms and conditions", even though it was not an Terms and conditions issue. It was just common sense that it was a winning bet. I place my bets honestly, fairly and legitimately, and all I wanted was to be treated in the same manner. How wrong I was to think I would have been treated in the same manner.

Don’t even bother

It’s a waste of time and all you’ll get is stress and frustration.
My dispute was against Chumba Casino, who closed my account supposedly because I used some kind of software or hardware, which is completely false. Of course, they accused me of violating the terms and conditions.

I sent eCogra some of my card entries as evidence, including the code (to show they were written manually before my account was closed). Chumba Casino submitted a fragment of their terms and conditions and a statement claiming that a specialist reviewed my entries.

They sided with the casino — a decision that, as I see it, was already made before the dispute even started. I waited over two months, even though they said they would keep me updated. I messaged them several times to check on my case and was completely ignored.

It’s purely a formality. They don’t take you seriously.

SCAM, paid by bookmakers, bet365 included !!!

Hi. My name is Eva Bochukova and my Dispute [REF:5B52D22E-DD55-4B5B-867A-6EF1DA4C68CB] with eCOGRA.
On 10th of March i filled a complaint against bet365. I've placed a bet in a Saudi Arabia premier league for more than 1.5 corners at HT. Total corners at HT are 3. My bet won. Few hours later bet365 void my bet with explanation that i knew that in that specific match might be more than 1.5 corners at HT ???
After 3 months awaiting for eCOGRA, it seems they didn't want to review my case and just to take money from bet365 and resolve in their favor. No evidence, nothing , just saying: resolution in favor of operator ?
I want to attach their decision but i don't see such an option in here. eCOGRA IS NOT ADR, eCOGRA is nothing compared to the service of I.B.A.S. eCOGRA is paid by bookmakers for sure ! Unfortunately i can't raise my case ot I.B.A.S. due to my country of residence and bet365 knows that very well, that's why they choose eCOGRA instead of I.B.A.S. Bet365 prefers to pay eCOGRA so they know each resolution will be in their favor. Ask and check how many resolutions from eCOGRA against bet365 are in favor of consumers and how many in favor of bet365 !!! Shame on you eCOGRA !!!!!!!!!!

Poor Service

Very poor. Promise to keep you informed but don’t. Made their final decision on my case after 50 days then waited a further 40 days to inform me and then give you 7 days to dispute the decision then close it after 6. Their slogan “Quality,Speed,Service” don’t fulfil any of these.

Don't bother - They will favour the casino

I had a dispute running with Grace Media (333 Casino). They didnt even bother opening the evidence email supplied by me and awarded in favour of the casino.

They don't reply to emails, they dont supply any details supplied to them by the casino. Its a waste of time using the service.

Even with all the evidence in my favor, ECOGRA decided in favor of BETWAY, a company that likes to steal the players. Unfortunately I will have no alternative and will have to act by court to get my winnings, as ECOGRA is as corrupt as gambling companies.

Absolute shambles of a company, it’s been over 3 weeks now and had no response from them, they are clearly been paid by the casinos! Unfortunately the scammers at hopa casino do not get handled by ibas anymore and you can see why!!! This company have no intentions of doing any sort of work for the customers, too busy taking backhanders from dodgy casino sites

No effort at all to solve the case

No effort at all to solve the case. €1000 was simply deducted from Tipico. After all my efforts, I tried to get my money back via eCogra. You wait 3 months and then they say there isn't enough evidence, even though I was able to prove everything with screen shots. Such sites only serve to appear to represent the interests of players, but in reality they are clearly on the side of the providers

They’ve been handling my case for 3…

They’ve been handling my case for 3 months. I have to send like 10 emails just to get one response. Cases are meant to be resolved in 90 days. It has now been 85 without any response or resolution. If you go on their website you can see their data and how many consumers they find in favor of each year and to be honest the numbers are shocking. These people have no interest in helping anyone but the casinos

My mom tried to sign up on pokerstars.com. She messed something up, and her accounts got blocked. Turns out, they blocked her because she needed to complete verification. She sent all the required documents, but it’s been about three weeks—no response, no updates. The money she deposited on PokerStars is gone. They refuse to confirm her verification. I filed complaints with the MGA and eCOGRA. The complaints were ignored. No money returned. They don’t care about you. Total scammers!

I made complain that casino scammed me fro 1000€ and waited over 3 months just to get told that case is resolved in favour of the operator.
Don't waste your time on them, they are paid off by casinos...

At first they appeared quite interested in my case but just let it drift on and on. According to their own policy they were supposed to update me regularly with details of how the case was going but every time I had to ask them to tell me the latest news. It felt as though they were just waiting for me to give up. After six months with no progress I took alternative measures and had my money returned from the poker site almost immediately.

Corrupt

Ecogra ARE NOT independent. They are paid (bribed) by the betting companies.
I provided the evidence of ( in my opinion) clear theft . I even said I await you finding the operator is correct! They off course did. I then went to my bank with THE EXACT SAME EVIDENCE and they refunded my money they stole. I have asked Ecogra why their outcome was a different but of course they will not reply .

Don’t trust the low trust pilot rating… eCOGRA are 5 stars

The low rating of eCOGRA appears to be primarily due to complaints from individuals who feel they have been wronged, despite their stories not clearly supporting these claims. My experience with eCOGRA has been entirely positive. After trying unsuccessfully for over six months to retrieve my winnings, both on my own and through Casino Guru, I finally achieved a resolution within three weeks of submitting a single email to eCOGRA. This resulted in the recovery of my winnings. In my view, turning to eCOGRA was the best decision I made, and I rate them 5 stars.

The low Trustpilot rating likely stems from individuals viewing their claims emotionally, which can cloud their judgment. If you have a legitimate claim, eCOGRA will resolve it; if you don't, they won't.

eCOGRA, helping bookies scam you!

They'll side with the scamming companies. Ecogra will pretend that they want to help, won't be in touch for months and then contact you to state that they have closed the case.

In my case, they insisted that I hadn't forwarded documents on to Unibet. I have evidence that I did this 7 months ago, and a month later Unibet advised me to go to Ecogra. I've waited 6 months for a verdict, only for Ecogra to provide me with blatant lies, despite my evidence to the contrary.
