Got a cold call from Edge Solar beginning of the week saying they want to inspect my inverter even though they never fitted it in the first place! Due to the warranty period expiring from the government grant they claimed that they would fully inspect my installation including going into the loft etc
So I agreed an appointment
Their representative turned up on time to look at my inverter
He didn’t really check anything apart from press a few buttons and then tell me I needed a voltage regulator that would cost £2500!!
I said I got the entire system for free under a grant in 2022 because I was unemployed at the time
Obviously he decided I wasn’t worth wasting his time with as he was gone in the next five minutes
He didn’t inspect the loft or the installation at all
So I phoned a solar surveyor that I know locally who confirmed that a voltage regulator costs between £250 to £400! So I wonder what they really were after with this appointment!!

Was recommended by a friend, so I went with a full battery system. Can't fault them, and love looking at the app. Happy customer.

Edge solar is a fantastic company to work with. I had two full installs, one at my mums and my house, both done fast correctly. I recommend them!

I had to replace my inverter recently, and lets just say I was NOT looking forward to it. Solar issues can be a headache when you're as busy as I am. The team really came through, though! They worked around my schedule, were efficient. I could tell they knew their stuff - they even gave tips on how to keep everything running smoothly. Now, my new inverter is up and working beautifully, and my solar energy output is back to where it should be. Solid job- no complaints here.

Our system needed a few updates, and the team handled everything smoothly. On top of that, they even added free bird protection, which was a nice surprise! Really can't complain- great service all round.

The team recently helped us switch to a cheaper rate and installed an EV charger. I was really impressed with how smoothly everything went. We recently had a hybrid inverter and battery installed, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The system looks very sleek and modern, and the team did an amazing job with the setup. They also helped us switch to a cheaper night rate, which has already made a big difference in our energy bills. The engineers were fantastic, friendly and explained everything so well.

They came saying that they worked on behalf of Solar Edge which THEY DO NOT. Solar Edge asked me to report them to the police which I have done. A technician visited telling me that I needed a Voltage regulator which is not necessary. He also said I needed to buy a Warrantee from them as I wasn't covered. Again not true. Disgusting sales scam. Do not use.

Maintenance has been very useful. Edge Solar have been out on multiple occasions to repair different wiring issues and optimisers. I'm extremely pleased.

Bought a 2.4 kilowatt battery from edge solar and they installed a 3.3 kilowatt as a free upgrade. So nearly an extra kilowatt of storage extra for free:) Thank you! And I have recommended you to various friends of mine at my church. Thank you!

My electricity bill has been astronomical so I decided to go down the solar root after my friend Maureen did. She recommended edge solar and they did a great job and installed a 3.6 kilowatts full solar install, the install was finished the following week after giving the green light. Great process, friendly staff, fast! And has been such a refreshing and exciting seeing the system produce for my home. Highly recommend the team at edge solar.
