I was so keen to try this treatment but…
I was so keen to try this treatment but unfortunately it was not helpful for me. I took one sachet to slow an episode of diarrhoea and it had no effect but made me feel nauseous and caused me to have stomach cramps all of the next day. I never experience those kinds of symptoms so cannot attribute to anything else.

Hi Kathy,
We are sorry to hear that you did not feel an improvement after taking treatment. We normally recommend one dose of Enterosgel three times per day for the 20 day course for IBS sufferers or for 3-5 days for acute diarrhoea treatment. We would suggest increasing your dose to a double dose 3 times per day if you find that you are still experiencing symptoms.
Stomach pain is not a listed side effect, in fact, Enterosgel can be helpful in relieving symptoms of abdominal pain. We do hope this dosage advice helps and that you are able to manage your symptoms or find something that works for you!

Am so glad I came across Enterosgel. I am now able to control my IBS and travel holiday destinations without worrying. I like that it is tasteless and so convenient to carry a sachet with me any time I need to.

I have suffered from Chronic IBS-D for 34 years with no knowledge of this product..only the usual Dr ..take Imodium ..it stopped working & things turned very dark . 2 days on this & seriously I could do the conga around my garden..feel free & great!

Recommended by my local Pharmacy
Recommended by my local pharmacy and bought a tube of the gel for around £13. The tube was 95gms and was not enough for 5 x 20gm dose, so enough to last a day and a half.Asked the pharmacy if Enterosgel was available in larger sizes which it is but they didn't stock it.
Found it on line and bought 2 tubes x 225gms on a bogof offer for £20 which was a bit more reasonable. Only took it for a few days and it did seem to relieve the symptoms, but very expensive if you need to use it long term.

Unfortunately, Enterosgel is not a miracle cure so it might not work for some, however, it does alleviate IBS symptoms for majority of the patients and helped millions of people. It could be that you need to alter your dosage to your needs, so please get in touch with a member of our team.

Did not work for me
After using Enterosgel for nearly 3 weeks, It did not improve at all any of my symptoms of IBS-D. Had high expectations on this after reading the reviews and I’m sure it will work on others, but this was not the case for me.

We are really sorry to hear that the product did not work for you. As every body is different we suggest upping your dosage to see if that works, as for most people, when they up the dosage, it works better. Unfortunately it is not a miracle cure so relief can not be guaranteed for all, but our studies show that it does work for majority. Hope you will soon live your life IBS- free!
