Spoke to what seemed a female voice, foreign... tried to gain access to our computer and put viruses on it and extort money from us. We are also worried they tried to steal our identity and bank details, we contacted the police immediately. Disgusting con artists who need jobs and stop trying to talk honest hardworking money off of honest hardworking people. Please do not trust them they are fraudulently portraying themselves as the company Epson and Epson has wrote an article on them warning customers not to trust them

The worst company I have ever dealt with, they are extremely unhelpful and will do anything to anything to get out of repairing your product, I had purchased CoverPlus for a printer from Epson which is an extended warranty and this was their response:

The customer that has purchased goods but has not had the goods. i.e the pack that contains the code then they need to take this up with the reseller. Without the code there is no CoverPlus depite invoice showing purchase, no goods were delivered!

I purchased a printer from a reseller who purchase direct from Epson, they are meant to then send some sort of code that you have to register but bear in mind, at no point is this made clear that you will need to register the code. The reseller know nothing of this code and they purchase many of these systems.

Epson say they cannot advise how the warranty code is sent as they arent sure, they just "know" it is sent.

Pure con artistry at its finest. STAY WELL CLEAR

They tried to install software on my computer. They showed the firewall as down because I gave them access. Fortunately I stopped in time

I payed 700 euro for a set of Epson moverio, and I recived a used pair in a box witch had allready been used. Sealing of the box were broken

Lack of service that i never seen before

This is a phishing company.
They convince you to accept a GoToAssist meeting invite which gives them remote keyboard/mouse control to your computer, then they change a bunch of windows settings and attempt to convince you to pay them $200 to "fix" all the problems that they just introduced.

This is not a legitimate Epson help service - they are in business to plant viruses on your computer, then extort you to pay them money to "fix" the problem. I found their website when I was having trouble with my Epson printer. I thought it was an official Epson site. They listed five fixes for my problem, but their language was vague, so I wrote a message to their live chat. I was asked to call them to speak with a "technician", so I called, and got a very nice sounding guy with a heavy south Asian accent who guided me through a very simple fix for my problem (one of the ones detailed on their site and elsewhere) and the problem was fixed. He then said that the problem was elsewhere, possibly in my printer driver, but in any case he wanted access to my computer remotely to find the problem. I downloaded his connection program and granted him access (yes, foolish me). He went through all kinds of setting in my control panel in an effort to prove to me that my router had a virus and my entire house's "network" was infected (we don't have a networked house). He gave me a long list of general things that needed to be done (wrote them in a word file for me). We were on the phone for over an hour and finally he offered to connect me to another technician, if I could spare another hour or so to help with the items on the list he made. I said I'd talk to the technician, but he then said it would cost $199.95 to do so and to get my computer "fixed" I'd just turn the connection over to them and be given it back when they were done. I said no and we disconnected. It was only when he wanted money, that I recognized I was being bamboozled. So far, I have found no viruses or malware, but he did set my start up to only start in safe mode. That was an easy fix, but, boy, what an utter sleazy thing to do. Stay as far away from this company as possible. And be aware they have many domain names - one for every printer brand out their, and probably many others.
