I went to view a car with my partner and to say I was shocked would be an understatement I would give evans halshaw zero star rating if I could.The car we went to view which I had booked for a test drive was so dirty and
ĥad so many scratches on it. I really don't understand after booking a test drive no one had thought to at least try to clean the car. The worst part is I have purchased a car in the past and the service was perfect
I will not be using Evans Halshaw ever again.

Just bought my next car from the team at Wrexham. Very pleased with it. It was in excellent used condition. Originally they were going to deliver it to my home in Telford but too busy. Instead they filled the tank almost full and I collected it next day. Efficient transfer and would recommend their team to anyone.

Greeted by Lisa the receptionist, who is always smiley and helpful. Open and honest information given regarding my vechicle

Staff and work on my car can not ask for better

Dealing with Joe Fawcett, Salesman. Can trust him to put together a great deal.

Was kept informed every step of the way. Staff were extremely help full and the vehicle was returned promptly will all issues resolved.

Tried to fix things that weren't broken. Washers and window were stuck due to freezing temperatures outside. Mechanic said they were broken and needed fixing when this wasn't the case so I'm very wary of taking to evanshalshaw now

Took our car in for its MOT and service and Rach (Rachel) at the service desk was so helpful and friendly. She also helped
Us setting up our service plan. We give her so much credit for the way she handled everything. Thank You.

I bought a low mileage Vauxhall Astra Estate 1.4t elite Nav online from Evans Halshaw Ford Wrexham. Part of the reason for choosing this model was the large infotainment Sat nav screen. Unfortunately on receiving the vehicle it was apparent the touch screen was not working with about 2/3rds of the screen being inactive rendering most of the features unusable. I informed EH Wrexham of the fault the day after delivery and it was arranged to have the car examined at EH vauxhall Middlesbrough who confirmed the screen required replacement. EH Wrexham repeatedly stated they had authorised the work to be done however EH Middlesbrough state no authorisation has been received and as the screen doesn't control the climate control. I have made repeated calls to Wrexham and Middlesbrough but to no avail and my last desperate email to Wrexam appears to have been ignored. Customer service is non existent once they've had your cash. I will never buy a car online again and will certainly avoid Evan Halshaw in future.
A little update to show the total incompetence of EH Wrexham I received a phone call on 25th January telling me the touch screen is now repaired despite the fact that its not been in anywhere and no one has touched it. Thanks a bunch EH

10/02/23 UPDATE The touchscreen now been replaced.

To say I've only had my car just over a year, the MOT cost me £1400.00. Work that out. For that amount of money, anyone would think I'd used my car on a a damn diet race track. I literally go to town and home barely 8 miles, yet £1400:00 of work, BULL *HIT.

We were looking for a small car and called into the dealership towards the end of November. We discussed what we were looking for with Ella who showed us the Pumas they currently had in and let us have a test drive in one. As they didn't have the exact spec we were looking for Ella said she would keep a look out for one.
Ella kept us update as cars became available and kept looking for cars to match our fussy, criteria/specification patiently. Eventually one came up in Bedford. Ella secured it for us and had it brought to Wrexham ASAP. It was as described so after Ella negotiated a good part exchange deal for us we bought it. After an issue with the V5, that was promptly dealt with. Ella delivered the car to us free of charge as a good will gesture. We are very happy with the Puma, Ella and the dealership. Thanks for the excellent service.

When you write a review on here it says be honest, helpful and constructive…… ironic really when that’s everything Evans Halshaw in Wrexham failed at. I was purchasing a car and was due to collect it on the 30th of November. I took it to a body shop off site and they told me that both bumpers would need completely respraying as you can’t blend it in as there were too many marks for smart repairs. I was quoted £300 plus vat per bumper and Lewis wasn’t prepared to move on price or even meet me half way. I feel very let down by the branch. I was meant to collect the car on Wednesday night 30th of November in the dark (I declined) and was then being pushed to pay for the car before even seeing it, I'm so glad I didn’t. I was supposed to collect the car then on the 1st of December at 10 am but I was called at 9.45 to say Ella and Lewis (Manager) weren’t happy to let the car go in the state it was in. I came to view it and when I saw the car , the back was shocking and the front looked like leopard print and was no different when I came back the following day again to collect it.

The sales person who saw me on the 2nd rubbed his hand over the car and the paint on the bumper came straight off he even said he wouldn’t be happy with the job and took it into the body shop and re touched it up himself. The result was awful although at least he did try. So if 3 staff members thought it looked awful why would any of you sell that car in that condition?

That car needs far more than a smart repair and after using Evans Halshaw for well over 15 years, this has really put me off and I’m reluctant to use you again. I am also now out of pocket for insurance as you know due to insuring a car I now do not now own.

Lewis and Ella assured me the bumpers would be sorted before collection and I feel like the branch have tried to dupe me into buying a substandard car. On the 2nd of December I asked Lewis if I could take the car to an independent body shop to get a price he agreed. When I got to the body shop, they also pointed out that there is substantial damage to the front driver side alloy wheel which would fail within the year.

I have wasted 3 days as I have been back and forth to the branch and had to take time off work and arrange lifts. I feel very let down not least by the person who was dealing with me this morning (guy with a gold earring). He was extremely rude, stand-off-ish and abrupt, he lacks customer service skills and I felt patronised and spoken down to as a female on my own and I believe he should not have a customer facing role!

I’m so upset. This was supposed to an exciting time having a new car to us and for us spending over £10000 in cash at a time where we are in economic depression is a huge purchase. I just felt dismissed and that the branch didn’t want my custom. Needless to say I didn’t take the car.

I have emailed the branch directly and asked for it to be forwarded to the area manager and requested a response however my email has not even been acknowledged. Very poor customer service and a very poor car.
