I joined this community hoping to meet people, especially after feeling lonely. I had a short Zoom interview where they asked for my ID to verify I had no criminal record. After joining and paying for the membership, no one contacted me to explain how anything worked.

When I checked the schedule, there were only two local events at bars for the entire month, and most other events were international and very expensive. After repeatedly calling and texting, someone finally contacted me, but the response was dismissive and unhelpful—they just told me to look at the schedule.

Because there were essentially no meaningful events in my area and no support despite the “premium” membership, I stopped the payments through my bank. My account has now been sent to collections.

Looking back, the ID verification during the interview feels less about supporting members and more about securing their ability to pursue payments.

Noticed since I first joined, a lot of the times and dates of activities are geared towards people with regular 9 to 5 jobs, Monday to Friday with the weekends off. However, I work nights and have an irregular schedule in the medical field. I am only able to attend 1 or two events in a month at best due to almost all major events happening in the early evenings and interesting ones on weekends. Please consider future events with varying times in the mornings, afternoons, and weekdays more. I am sure there are other members like me who are unable to attend due to particular work schedules. Gracen, was outstanding. Her energy level is off the charts, she is always smiling, constantly keeping everyone informed, extremely accessible, very accommodating, and is funny too . She was a fantastic host, and I would gladly want her on every trip going forward.

My experience with the club had been good. Lot's of activities, travel and people with similar interests.

My experience with Events and Adventures was very disappointing. The staff didn't seem very helpful or interested in resolving our issuesand getting accurate event details was frustrating. Customer support took a long time to respond and didn’t really offer any clear solutions. Overall, the whole process felt disorganized. I expected a much smoother and more reliable experience from a site that handles event listings and ticketing.

I really enjoy the travel portion of this group the most. The local gatherings could use a boost and more adventurous events than sitting and drinking. I feel like a lot of the events aren’t very well attended and a little bit disorganized at times. Don’t get me wrong, I like the people I meet and I think this is a great idea …obviously I renewed for another year, but I’m trying myself to think of new ideas to present to you. Thank you for all you do.

I became a member of Events & Adventures, June 2023. It was the best decision of my life. I don't regret one minute of it. I have made so many wonderful close friends. They have become my family. I wish I joined years ago. I just recently became a lifetime member. I love attending all of the events and I now have plans for New Year's Eve for the rest of my life!

I moved to a new country in my late 40s and I felt like I wasn’t really making connections or friends - like where DO you meet new people? Joining E&A has been life changing! I’ve made loads of friends and have done so many adventures, seen so many new places and met so many cool people I never would have. I so happy I joined and even became a lifetime member recently. Cheers to more adventures with amazing people!

This is a very great opportunity to make a lot of friends. I have made some good friendships in my time here. However, when it comes to dating, relationships, any kind of romance you’re honestly better off elsewhere. I’m leaving E&A because I’m about to be engaged to the love of my life who I met from Hinge. However, if you want to make friends and explore your city then go for it. Also I have done the Iceland, Thailand, and Chile & Easter Island trip and the international trips are something I’d highly recommend. If it wasn’t for my upcoming engagement I would stay with E&A for the international trips alone.

I want to share my experience to help others avoid being misled. When I signed up with Events and Adventures, I was told my membership fees would cover all food, drinks, and activity costs. However, when I tried to attend events, I was charged additional fees for entry and meals. I expressed my concerns and requested to cancel, even offering to pay for an extra month or two. Instead, they demanded over $2,500 for 18 months of membership I no longer wanted. This business model feels dishonest and exploitative. Please be cautious before signing any contracts with them.

Scam. Boring events, you pay a monthly fee and still have to pay fornthe events. Most events are canceled. Big rip off. Stay away

I enjoy the variety of activities that this group plans each month. I get to try new things and meet new people almost every event. I have formulated many new friendships even being a more introverted type of person. Highly recommend for singles to meet new people.

had to end my membership with Events & Adventures after a disturbing experience during the Memorial Day weekend trip. During that trip, several attendees were reportedly drugged. When I brought this to the company's attention, instead of taking meaningful action or offering support, I was abruptly removed from the Facebook chat group—where there had been conversations about bringing THC to the event.

This response was not only unprofessional but deeply troubling. Rather than addressing a serious safety concern, they appeared more interested in silencing me. I closed my credit card and stopped all payments because I no longer felt safe, respected, or valued as a member. I cannot recommend this organization to anyone who values accountability, transparency, or basic safety.

It's a fun club where people are cool. The activities are fun. It's a good place to make friends outside of your normal social circles. Lots of activities almost everyday and there are group trips too.

I joined after being single for years and struggling to find people to do things with. I also did not want to get on another dating website. I have made some of the best friends and had a relationship in my 1st year plus. The community the Atlanta group has formed is great and welcoming.. Relationship ended and I joined right back up knowing that this group will keep me happy and busy!

I signed up for Events and Adventures on March 3rd and went to just one event before realizing it wasn’t for me. When I tried to cancel, they told me I missed a 3-day cancellation window—something I was never clearly informed about. Instead of a simple cancellation, they’re now trying to charge me $2,500 to get out of it. No reminders. No notifications. Just vague contract language and pressure to pay.

This business model preys on vulnerable people looking for connection and then traps them with unethical billing practices. I feel completely scammed. Please think twice before signing anything with this company.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! There's only one star so that I can write the review. This is an LGBTQ+ focused group in Dallas. The free venues require payment such as coffee houses and events hosted at people's home where they live. These fees are in addition to membership fees and the cost of actually participating in the event. So for about $3,000, you get information about where to meet a group of people are meeting.

Events and Adventures prays on the vulnerable. They lie to get people to sign. They use people’s pain to push a sale but they don’t really care about them or what impact the club will have on their lives. They just want money, plain and simple.
